My dearest boy birthday surprise

29th October was my dearest boyfriend, Lionel Lee, big day. Due to his coming papers, we have decided not to spend too much time on the birthday celebration. Hence, it became a hush hush birthday celebration where there's just 2 of us. I wanted to actually bring him out of Singapore but knowing how important exam is to him, I decided to forgo the thought of it.

It was reallll....y hard to plan for so a small yet meaningful and unforgettable birthday celebration. Money is not an issue but TIMING IS! Hence, I told him that we will have crab noodle from Uncle Leong instead since it was pretty long ago since we had crabs from very nice restaurants.

We went to the Punggol branch since we believe that the ambience will be better beside a park. We chose an outdoor sitting to enjoy the breeze of the after rain. We went there about 6pm on a Friday evening and was quite pleased that there was no queue.

We check on the menus and as usual, we order the dishes without knowing their prices cause they are not stated even for vegetables dishes. Excited to know what we have ordered?

1. The Fried Tofu

2. 3 different types of eggs Spinach (4 stars)

3. The famous CRAB NOODLE (5 stars)

4. The must order crab (Jin Sha Nai You Crab)

I think we are really CRAZY when we saw all the dishes arrived. People around us must have thought that we have not been eating well for the past 3 days. We tried to finish up EVERYTHING but we just couldn't store anymore food into our tummy for the MUST-ORDER Jin Sha Nai You crab and so, we got it packed for mummy instead. Mummy finished up the whole crab all by herself and kept praising that the crab is really good. :)

Darling went back to study after 2 hrs of dinner while I started sending my dedication to Yazmin on Class 95fm via the radio website. Mummy hide the small cake in the refrigerator where darling will least search it. :)

@11.58pm - I acted very busy running around the house to pack some stuff just so that he doesn't find something is amiss. I got the 2 slices of very delicious cake out ( it's 2 slices cause I believe that we will be very full after a good dinner at uncle Leongs and the 2 slices should be enough to feed Mummy, the bf and myself) and stick a candle on it. I was searching in vain for a lighter in my house but all I could find were MATCHSTICKS and so I tried to strike with the least sound I could do. Finally.. 12am came!

@ 12am (29 oct) - I sang a Happy Birthday song to him and the dedication was played after that. Mission accomplished!! He was very surprised and happy as well. However, he was too full to have even a pinch of chocolate. :)

Movie Preview: Tower Heist

In this movie preview, I brought a colleague along to watch it with me. It had been eons since I had last watch a movie with a girl friend and when I found out that I had gotten myself 2 tickets from OMY, I knew I had to whatsapp her about it.

Before I share with you guys on my reviews about the show, here's a little synopsis about Tower Heist.
Tower Heist is a 2011 crime comedy film directed by Brett Ratner and written by Ted Griffin and Jeff NAthanson based on a story by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Griffin. Main lead actors are of course... Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. This show is about how the employees of an exclusive apartment building who lose their pensions in the Ponzi scheme of Wall Street businessman Arthur Shaw steal back their money with the help of an experienced criminal theft (Eddie Murphy).

Pre thoughts about the movie

When I first knew that I had got 2 tickets to the movie, I was really very excited. I must admit that I knew NOTHING about the movie even before entering the movie theatre but the thought about seeing Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy just excites me. Tuesday was a really stressed up day to end with especially when my head was thinking of solutions and solutions for the whole of TUESDAY! I met up with Rika at 6.30pm after sending one last important email. She was asking me if there was an issue at work and I told her immediately that Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller better make my day end with a good laughing moments. Eddie Murphy have been my one of my favorite comedian since Big Momma and Nutty professor days. He's just a really very talented guy. Rika and I got a popcorn set to enjoy the movie on our Tuesday Night.

Post thoughts about the movie

I pretty like the storyline of the movie. It shows how 4 noobs have to make their way through a high security building and steal $20M out from the safe only to find out that the $20m was made of GOLD to build a CAR instead. The story in the beginning was a little too serious for the 2 comedians but I had a great laughing moments towards the end where they had to transport the big and heavy car out from a high level. It was reallly hilarious.

Even though the movie did really make my day end with a good laughter to forget the stress I had at work, I do think that this movie also did gave me some disappointments as it is not as funny as I really expect it to be.

Monopoly Macdonalds

I'm a big loyal fan of Macdonald since young but I'm really trying to cut down on the cravings due to the FATs I would gain. But thanks to this monopoly contest which came back after a hiatus, I kinda put all the weight loss plans away hoping that I could win the $80,000 or that Macbook air.

On every week, I will be seen munching my burgers away while sticking those stickers on my Monopoly sheet. I'm glad that I have colleagues who are as enthu as me as well. We will exchange stickers and hoping that on one fine day, we will walk away with a CAR or $80,000 (fat hope.. I know!)

Here we are again at United Square Macdonalds during lunchtime. This is what all of us would be doing before we start our meal - tearing all the game labels apart. Hahaha!

As usual, we won nothing big in the end but just a small packet of fries which I think was a good consolation price.

Fright Fest at Singapore Flyer

When I knew that I have won 2 tickets to FrightFest @ Singapore flyer media launch (thanks to Omy.sg), I was as happy as a lark. This is the very first time in my 25 yrs of my life that I am going to meet the Pontianaks and hantu. I brought my boyfriend along with me for this event just in case the event was too scary for me. :)

Tickets cost $25 nett – Includes entry into FrightFest @ Singapore Flyer Rainforest and 1 Special Halloween Brew (non-alcoholic)*

It was a pity that I didnt have time to shop for a halloween outfit or accessories and hence I ransack my wardrobe and manage to pull out a dress and a horn for this event.

The day finally came and I met the boyfriend at Suntec at 7pm. We had a quick dinner and made it at the event at 7.45pm. We were pretty lost at first as it was a pretty long time since we had went to Singapore flyer. The very last time was 2 years ago when we have got 2 tickets to NDP preview and 2 years later... there's a new eatery food junction at the Singapore Flyer!!

We made our way to the Singapore reception counter and was greeted by a few 'scary' people. Oh boy, I can see that these people are really very enthusiastic with the halloween theme. During the registration, I was shock to realise that the organizer for the event was one of my secondary school friend, Fulvia. Even though we were both from different classes, I'm glad that she could still remember my name. :)

The event started not long after we have all settled down. Since this was a media launch, we will be seeing only 60% of the pontianaks on that night. Still, I was feeling really excited and scared at the same time that the haunted jungle is too much for my timid heart.

Camwhore a little while waiting for our turn to enter into the very eerie jungle. Trust me.. hearing the first batch of people shouting isn't really helping me to conquer my fear.

After 5 mins of waiting, it's finally our turn to enter into the dark jungle. We were greeted by this old lady who was smacking her clogs on the paper man and was cursing at in in Cantonese.

All of us started snapping photos of her until she suddenly stood up and scare us by shouting in Cantonese. I nearly threw my camera into the plants and run. A girl in front of us was so frightened that she took a step back and stepped onto my bf's feet. Ha ha ha!!!

We walked further into the jungle and out of nowhere, a ghost appeared in front of me. She's a rather nice ghost cause when I asked her to take a picture, she stood there for me to proceed. Good ghost!

When my heart was much settled into the environment and was talking to my boyfriend about the decorations which the event organizer had put so much effort in, 'HE' had to BOO me and scare the shit out of me. My boyfriend was laughing out loud when he saw me shouting like a 3 yr old girl. My boyfriend even asked him where was his buddy that night. Guys!!!

See how happy my bf is! After snapping this photo, I realised that the 'ghost' looks rather funny and cute instead of scary. Maybe it is just me who is afraid of 'HIM'. I kept asking my bf to beat him up when the 'ghost' try to catch me. HAHAHAH!

After all the scary moments, here comes something really funny!!

This lady here doesn't really appear to be a ghost to me. She was kneeling down on the floor, crying when we saw her. She stood up when she saw us approaching and told us that she was really sad that her so-and-so passed away. She plead us to look into the coffin and pass us a joss stick. We didn't know what to do and hence we stood there with the joss stick and asked each other 'WHERE TO PUT THIS JOSS STICK'. With nowhere to poke the joss stick, we put it on the floor and walk away. This lady made it so realistic as she kept putting her head down and asking us to look into the coffin. 5 star for her drama-ness!

2nd laughing moments:

This cheeky ghost took a feather duster and tickle my leg when I walk pass him. The jungle was in total darkness and when I felt something poking my leg, I told my bf that there's something on my leg and he was like.. NOTHING LEI (cause the feather duster was only poking at me).. ORH.. THERE'S THE GHOST!

My top ten favourite past time..

I am 3/4 done with my report when I decided to just give myself a short rest and blogged. I was trying to think of a title and finally came up with this. I couldn't blog much about my outings since I have not much agenda for any outing. :(

So what's my favourite top ten things to do if I have NOTHING to do?

10. Doing the 4 minutes work out.
The 4 mins work out was being introduced by Rachel when we were having our dinner meet last month. She was telling me that her friend had lose loads of weight doing the 4 mins work out. I went to check on it on Youtube and I was amazed by the number of 4 mins work out video youtube has. I picked one of the less tedious video and did it. I didnt lose any weight still since I do it only when I have time but hell did I enjoy jumping around along with the video. I enjoy it most when the bf follows me. You guys should try it out!

09. Munching tidbits
I know munching tidbits is reaaallly... very unhealthy but this is really a good de-stress method at least for me. I love it especially when the tidbits I am eating is something new in the market yet taste very nice. Some of my favourites are, Lay's Kyushu Seaweed, Pocky, Pringles and many more!

08. Checking on discounts/sales in the internet
This is really something that I do very randomly if I'm extreamly bored and have nothing else to do. I will head to reebonz.com to check out on the bags even though I know I could not really afford it, Zuji.com.sg to check if the airplane tickets prices drops and checking on groupon.com.sg or any of such websites to see the upcoming deals.

07. Watching tv programs on channel 8 or 5
It's really wierd on how I only spent my time watching local tv programs. I used to only watch SCV TV shows when I was still a student but now.. I guess with the only 3 hrs of leisure time I have from Monday to friday, the only nice programmes then is.. channel 8 local drama at 9pm. :)

06. Checking on facebook almost everywhere I go
Everytime I feel alone or someone ignores me for a sms/games (my bf does that almost all the time), I will just logged into fb on my mobile and scroll down with all the updates. Some of the updates really makes me laugh, smile or feel sad but well.. I guess this is really a past time I spend most of my time doing.

05. Reading magazines
Reading magazines is like a therapy for me. Whenever I feel tired from a day at work or play, a magazine just never fails to perk me up. The models, beauty tips and food tips could just make me stuck on it for hrs. My favourite magazines are I zhou kan(local), Her world mag, Cleo and time out magazines.

04. Blogging
I really love to BLOG even though I do not have a forte in writing but I just love to express my feelings through writing. It's really a pity that I could not blog as often as compared to the past but I will TRY! It's really sad that whenever I'm at some splendid place and snap some shots so that I can blog, I just couldnt find the time doing it and when I finally could.. I FORGET EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! Darn!!

03. Facial moments
I have only been to a facial parlour once and that's my last even though I enjoys it. I just like it more when I'm putting on my mask at home with no one pushing any sales to me. I love it even more that I do not need to make any appointments and have the freedom to do it anytime I like. Till date, I have 8 boxes of taiwan masks, 2 boxes of facial products from Laniege and soon... I'm gonna splurge on SK2 products when my company has the SK2 sale. *can't wait*

02. Blogshopping
Blogshopping is like my 2nd best thing to do during my free time. It's woman's best thing on earth, I proclaimed! Haha! My 25th year old birthday week

I seriously can't believe it sometime when I'm telling people my age. In the past, I always wish I could grow up faster but now.. I just wish time could just take it a little slower. Most of my friends in facebook are starting to post loads of wedding photos, bride's photoshoot and their baby's photo.. some even had more than 2 kids! GOODNESS.. it seems like just yesterday that some of them just gossip about Westlife and backstreet boys.

Oh well.. I'm really do feel proud of these young mummy friends I have. They didn't seems to be one who could look after kids in the past but oh my... the way they look after their kids now is really.. unbelievably good! Whatever it is, I'm really proud of all of you and am very happy for you.

Ok, so back to the topic which is on my birthday. So what did I do? Actually, I didnt want to plan something big for this year due to my busy agenda and having a birthday which falls on a weekday is a BIG NO NO to take off especially on that week. I met up with my long lost pals for Itacho sushi and the chawamushi WAS GREAT! It's abit steep on the pricing but it is definitely worth it. I really enjoy so much that day despite that it was a blue monday which we have met. Rachel got me a lovely slice of cake and they were quite mean to make me finish the slice ALL BY MYSELF even though I was really full! But well.. the cake was really delicious and I managed to finish 3/4 of it all by myself.

The very same week, my colleagues decided to treat another colleague of mine to Swensen. The very last time I had Swensen was.. 4 months ago with Kervin and rest.. Nothing change much from the menu but the discounts from groupon made it super worth it to go. The same group of colleagues treated me to Marche the week after next to celebrate my birthday. Really love this group of girls loads. Without them, I will probably head to work with a heavy heart. They are the ones that never fails to bring laughter to my face even though it was a.. hectic day.

On the very last day of my 24th. I met the bestie for dinner. We wanted to have Big O for dinner with the 1 for 1 offer I had but Sushi Teh seems much delicious with the array of dishes they are serving and hence.. we made a trip down to Paragon to queue for SUSHIs!!!! The bestie seems skinnier after 2 months of not meeting her due to her excessive studies. Bestie, do take care of your health especially when you so much studies to deal with. I really heart this bestie loads. Her jokes, senseful learnings and actions just never fails to brighten my day. We bought each other a birthday gift even though we didnt tell anyone that we are getting for each other. Oh man.. great minds think alike huh! She had gotten me a limited ed smokey eye eyeshadowed from MAC and it is something I have been wanting to get for myself but couldn't find a good one.

Pardon me with my melting make up. The make up primer isn't working very well on my face. Any recommendation??

I guess it was the excessive meal from Sushi Teh that had gotten me sick on the very next day. So what did I had that caused me to take a half day MC the next day? *Look below but don't DROOL*

Saw the Chawamushi? THAT's MY FAVOURITE! The egg rolls were... ahh... -no words can describe it-!

And so I had a very bad headache on the very next day. It was so bad that I threw up in my office toilet bowl! OH man... how nice to fall so ill on that very day. Sam was really nice to come down to the bus stop to pick me up with sweets when I told her that I was very scared that I might faint anytime. I don't think it was food poisoning but more like.. the food was somehow too raw for my tummy, esp the prawns!

Met the boyfriend after I had completed my morning work. He took me to his place to have a rest before heading to the GP. The GP gave me a 1 day MC cause I asked for it else he will give me 2 day MCs instead. Workaholic right?

The bf then took me to town to have our dinner at Aston specialty after roaming the streets of orchard. Nothing much was done on that day since I was quite sick to enjoy much. We had our dinner and then head home for a good sleep. I rather like it this simple sometimes else there would not be any big surprises in the future.

My manager treated us lunch on the next day too and I felt so fat on that very week to eat and eat and EAT. After the fantastic lunch, the team then called for another mini celebration during the PS team meeting. I was really happy for that whole week but well... not quite happy with the weight I had gained! Hahahhaha!!

I've promised to blog more often and I'm glad I'm still doing it quite well despite that it's already 11.09pm. :)
The reason I'm here was because I want to share something to the world before I head off to bed on my lovely Seahorse memory pillow that never fails to give me sweet dreams for the past 2 nights.

I was really very busy the whole day today especially when the clock strucks 1.30pm. My calender was filled with meetings from 1.30pm till 5pm and when I was finally done with my 1: 1 with my manager at 5pm. My heart was sanked with the whole chunks of emails in my inbox. I can literally faint on the spot with 30 emails for just 2 hrs. GOOD GRACIOUS LORD! I was suppose to attend another meeting with another colleague of mine when she came to my desk with a box of pretty cup cakes from 12 cupcakes. I have heard alot about that shop since it was opened by Daniel Ong and his pretty wife called Jamie Teo but never have I tried any cakes from them before since I'm not a big fan of cupcakes.

Cupcakes to me are just pretty food which are not meant to be eaten. They either smell plastic or taste like they are just plastic playdo. So never will I splurge $3.50 for them even if they have chanel bags on it. Since my colleague was so generous to share this very lovely cupcake with me, I tried to choose the one that looks less plastic. That's when I chose this:

This looks creamy and fattening and I was abit reluctant to have that bite cause I'm really afraid of the amount of cream it has and if the cake taste wierd like how most of the cupcake taste. :( I took my first bite and I was SUCKED TO HAVE MY SECOND QUICK BITE! Oh my.... the cup cake taste so delicious that my diet plan just had to be put aside. It seriously taste very good. There wasn't any plastic smell at all (except for that heart perhaps.. since it was an icing) and the cake was sooooo soft and yummy.

After that whole cupcake which had gone into my tummy within 3 mins, I told myself to buy a box the next time for my bf's family and my family. It's really very very yummy. Happy 49 months anniversary to my dearest King!

In a blink of an eye, we have already come this far. 49 MONTHS which equates to 4 years 1 month anniversary. This had thus marked the longest relationship I had in my entire life. I'm glad that we are still doing very very good and quarrels are getting lesser and lesser. So how did we come this far?

1. I'm glad that in every quarrels we had, the bf never fails to settle it with a hug and a big KISS! Of course, this doesn't succeed without a magnanimous ME! I'm usually quite big hearted so I normally forgive him after he apologise and make sure this doesnt repeats else I will be angry twice longer than I usually would. Tsk tsk.

2. Discussion is what we always have weekly. We will discuss almost every decision we make and ask for each other opinion. The females are normally the ones who are more opinionated so guys who are less talkative and submissive would normally end up with a good relationship.

3. Who says that a relationship would turn sour if we meet almost everyday? SEE, I made it quite well! I will stay at the bf place from friday till sunday sometimes Thursday till Monday but we are still very alright with it. I really do believe that the more often we are together, the more we will think of things to do cause we will just get sick of staying at home. Recently, we even played badminton on every weekends and it is still happening. We will laugh at each other silly actions because we are open with each other due to the long meetup we have per week.

4. I believe that we can be still that strongly in love also because the bf does the housework chores most of the time. I really love guys who does the household chores cause this really shows that he is one who cares about the family. With him being so anal about dirt, he makes sure that I am well taken care of everytime I am with him. How lovely is that.

5. The close knited family bond we have for each other family. I am being included in every family occassion of his and vice versa. Recently, my dad had his 55 bday lunch at Rama Thai and see how completed this picture is. Yes yes... yours truely had put on many weight. Blame it on the lovely colleagues I have. :)

Net, I'm really a Happy girl with a lovely bf and a lovely family! :) YEAH!!!!

It had been a long long time

It had really been a very long time since I had last blog about my life, surroundings and friends. If you were to ask me what had stopped me from blogging, I would shout out really loud... WORK! I do believe that many of my blogger friends had since stopped blogging due to work constraints too. I have tried clicking onto each and every link of my friends in my blog links and sadly, none updated! See how technology have transformed us into.. a lazy old workaholic who rather keep their thoughts in facebook versus writing it in blogger. :)

Despite being all tight up with work and having no time to type a proper entry, I'm still quite happy with life. Work had been good for me after 9 months in P&G. People there are nice and I'm so glad that I have an opportunity to have friends around the world. I have collegues from Japan, Korea, India (Bangalore, Delhi and more), Indonesia, Vietnam, Germany, Philippines and more. Each national have its own unique characteristic and I do have a great fun working with them. Recently, I was awarded by the GM for doing good team work in building the business. :) Also, I'm glad that I am able to make good friends with the assistant brand managers to learn more from them on their marketing skills. I'm just elated that I'm at where I am now.

Of course, life didnt start that smoothly at first. I was on the verge of giving up. I remember telling my manager that I couldn't do it anymore and I don't like my job a few months back. She didn't reprimand me or got angry but she encouraged me and tell me that I am really doing a very good job. Initially, I thought she must be complimenting me for the sake of it and I even ask her if this was real. She guaranteed me that all the words she said was true and many people do think likewise too. With all the encouraging words she had given me did turn my life positively. Everything I did after that was more optimistic and successful. I manage to learn twice the speed compared to the past. I even made very good friends from other global business units colleagues and that made my days in office much more happier. These definitely helped to build up my confidence and guess what... I even give training session to all new hires in my GBU. Thinking back.. I really do think I had blossom from a seed to a flower with closed petals ( have not fully grown yet).

The moral of this entry is really to tell everyone to NOT GIVE UP when you feel that you are at the lowest. Think positively and things will just get it right somehow, somewhere. Remember, the more negative thoughts you have the more shitty things happens due to LAW OF ATTRACTIONS! :)

I was feeling a little emo during the long weekend break (took off on Mon and Tue) I had last week. I was thinking hard of the path I wanna create. Was it a carreer woman that I am looking for or just someone who works for a living/past-time? I had a great chat with the boyfriend to further understand what he sees in me and wants in me and SADLY... my tai tai life was DASHED! Let's just say that he doesn't want his wife to be a huang lian po and despite the effort of ensuring that I will NOT BE ONE even if I am jobless.. he still says NO!

I was feeling down as I could feel the stress level increasing at work. I had to learn a great deal of stuff on my own and on top of that.. I had to create a relationship with so many colleagues. It's not that I hate what I am doing.. just that many a times... I don't even feel myself at all. I don't even talk/behave like myself when I make small little talks with them. I felt more like..... ermm.... A LAO CHARBOR! My comical side just doesnt seems to portray at all in the OFFICE!

But well.. I'm still surviving well at work with my great manager who helps me alot. Life would probably be worst without such great help from her. Friends.. and readers.. please do me a big biggie favour.. DATE ME OUT MORE OFTEN so that I can release more stress after work! :)

-those times when I can sleep late in the night without worrying abt work the next day
-those times when I head out late in the night without worrying if I would look like a zombie at work
-those times when I had no worries before heading to my lala land
-those times when I can have late night chat with anyone without bothering about my dark circles
-those times when I can spend romantic weekdays with my love
-those times when all I talk about is school, exams and RELATIONSHIPS
-those times when I camp myself in the library to mug with close friends
-those times when I can watch tv programs with mummy
-those times when I can have home cook lunch made by mummy
-those times when I bum around on my bed with tidbits beside me
-those times when I can shop ard town without having people squeezing around with me
-those times when I can head to the pool with the bf to enjoy the sunny scorching sun
-those times when I can plan for holidays without fearing of not getting my leaves approved
-those times when I can have ban mian as long as I want
-those times when I hogged onto MSN and gets a reply instanteously from friends

Oh well.. tell me when can I get to enjoy such lovely moments again? Probably 10 years from now and that will probably make me 35? I start to question myself what I really want and perceive in life? I have a good job now in a good company but frankly, am I really happy? Why am I always being so pessimistic in life? I seriously need some aid/help to make a better and stronger person. I wanna be one of those who heads to work with a happy look and puts on a smile even when crisis happens. Friends.. please tell me how on earth am I suppose to do that?

My 2011 CNY

So how did all of you spend your CNY? Hope all you had a great time! My 2011 CNY was rather great. I spend Chu Yi visiting all my relatives and I was glad that baby came along. I had to leave early that day so that I can have a good rest for my KL trip the next day. YES.. I was at KL for the rest of my holi.

Darling's dad had gotten me a ticket to KL with them during CNY. Nope.. it isn't for visiting but for.. serious business of SHOPPING! I was glad that I went along with them as I got to understand the parents and brothers slightly better. Shopping at KL was great but things there are slightly more expensive than SPORE I feel. I manage to get a few clothes and some Vincci shoes which I simply adore so much.

The journey back home was really bad. The jam was so bad that our bus couldnt reach on time at 2.30pm.We had to resort to taking a 6.30pm bus instead and only get to reach singapore at.. 2am in the morning.

Net, I was really happy with my CNY this year as it was a little different from how I had celebrated it in the previous few years. Let's hope for the best in the year of RABBIT! :)

Finally a time for blogging

I have been really trying hard to scoop up some time for blogging but sadly, it was nowhere to be found. Work has been taking its toll on me as I indulge myself with training, meetings and STRESS! It had been fun with some hipcups here and there but well.. I'm still surviving!

I must agree that at times I do feel like giving up but thinking about how hard I strive to be at where I am now.. I held back. I'm glad that I have a fantastic manager who is willing to shine me with her torch instead of one who is just willing to employ someone who complete her load. :)

It's 6.30 and I'm still stuck in the office. Partly was because the sky is still raining as if it was snowing outside and the other reason was because I had to attend a meeting. It is wierd that I'm not complaining about the overtime but in fact, I am quite looking forward to it.

Darling is finally out in the working society for his internship. It is quite sad that he has to wake up for 5.45am everyday to travel to work but well.. at least he is happy with it. I really hope for the best for his 6 mths internship.

Alright.. guess I gtg now! Get myself prepared for the meeting later. Yoo hoo!

A brand new year ahead

Year 2011 is approaching and I'm so excited to do up my resolution for the year 2011!

1. I wanna travel to 3 different places
I will be going to Malaysia during Chu Er with the bf's family members. I know it sounds very cheepo but I'm pretty excited about it aeh.. cause I heard that the hotel that we will be staying is pretty cool! Don't worry... I will snap as many pictures as possible

Then.. I will wish to head to HONG KONG, MACAU and CHINA (all in one) during July for maybe 9 days? I am trying to brush up my cantonese due to this factor! I'm starting on my HK marathons! Hehe! Simply can't wait!

My third country would be TAIWAN again but with darling of course since he kept scolding me for spending so much in Taiwan the previous time! This time.. I hope I am able to travel to the other parts of Taiwan!

2. I wanna afford my FIRST branded bad
Actually, with all the savings I have now.. I am already able to afford one but probably I'm still quite stingy with it! Hehe! And.. I wish I am able to buy the right bag that makes me remember and love it for life! My first branded bag ok?

3. I want to have a good career path
Though I'm already in PnG, I still hope that I am able to sustain longer here and be able to give them WHAT I HAVE IN ME! Seriously, PnG rox big time and I really really hope to be one of them old birds in PnG!

4. I want to have a better relationship
DON'T misunderstand! My bf treats me helluva good but of course.. IT IS NEVER ENOUGH! I hope that we will both understands and love each other more year after year!I really hope he will be able to ace his studies and get into a super duper good co!

5. I WANT EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY TO HAVE GOOD HEALTH
This year had been a really bad year for my mummy's health and so I hope that she is able to live on very healthily in the coming year and of course.. EVERY OTHER YEARS! GOD... I know u are able to do it! Mummy have been rather strong after the operations but I really hope you are able to award her for a better and happier health! :)

6. I want my friends to stay happy!
Being me, I'm always trying in vain to reunite all my friends again but obviously it is harder than I could imagine! Therefore, this explains why I only have a few handful of friends who could stand by me! I am glad for all these friends I have...

Lala - Thanks for being such a dear! I guess it is the common horoscope that brought us so close. Despite the 1 year age gap, I am glad that I am able to learn so much from you! Thanks for everything my dear! I really hope that you will find your Mr right in this VERY year!

Jacyn - *waves* I am glad that even though we seldom meet up much.. I am still one of your priortise list for for ur brides maid! Hehe! Thanks for the few mini meetups and I really truely wish that you will get the bestest relationship in this very year!

Lisa - We met up for... 2 times this year! ( WHAT HAPPEN!!) Alright! I shall forgive you since we have been talking so much on the phone! Hehe! Quiet lunching moments

I could finally find some soothing time to blog at my pleasure. I chose to stay-in during lunch time so that I can enjoy the scenic view of the landscape around Novena. *I'm on the 22nd lvl f.y.i!

Xmas is coming and I'm so looking forward to it! I have gotten some important presents and am waiting for the bf to finish his papers so that we can shop for more!

Life for me have been rather good! But, I am down with the lousy flu! Feeling so lethargic every now and then! I'm quite happy with work as I saw opportunities coming in every now and then!

I have to go now.. It's one! I gtg for my qualification test! Wish me luck!

Adapting a new corporate life

Life at my new job have been fantastic. The pace is fast and challenging and people I meet there are almost around the world! All the way from German, India, US, Austrailia, Japan and Korea! I must really say that this new job have totally reform me to some mature lady!

However, one major downside for this job is that it requires me to buy MORE NEW CLOTHES and HEELS! Seriously, being petite is a major DISADVANTAGE even though it might be an advantage for a reason to get more new clothes and shoes! I have just purchased 3 dresses for some special meeting but what a big flop, the ITEM hasnt arrived yet and the meeting is TOMORROW! Grr!

Life with the boyfriend had a little crisis. Probably it was because of his exams or probably I was too stress out! Whatever it is, we made our little pinky promise that life will be better after the 21st! At times, I am glad to construct a fight with the bf cause I believe that it somehow helped us to understand better which it DID! It brought us closer after that big fight on friday night! And I was elated when he told me that he loves me alot and wouldnt want to have any other similar fight anymore! hehe! I LOVE U TOO DEAR!

Alrighty, I'm awesomely tired after running around the office! Need to read my work bible before sleeping! :) Bye!

I'm finally on a TWO DAYS off before I start on my most HAPPENING job! I'm trying to be at my best now recuperating all my healthy cells back! Just this morning, I brought mummy along to Body Wellness to try out their Massage! It's rather good just that I expected it to be more posh than that! The exterior was seriously AMAZING but when I opened the door, the admiration just got down to the drain! It got even worst when I was being lead to a ulu ulu room! Thank god that the massage made the whole trip all worthwhile else I will be super pissed when they actually LOST MY SLIPPERS!(YES! Someone took my slippers by mistake!)

Like what my title had said, I got quite RICH recently! I'm not referring that I have strike lottery or my company had given me a bonus or anything! But its just that.. I have decided to SPEND! I recently gotten the bf and myself an I PHONE 4! On top of that, I spend a few hundred bucks on cosmetics and clothes as well! My next goal will be that LV bag but that had got to wait a little while!

Speaking about the Iphone 4! I was totally hook on it! Hook on Facetime, skype, cookie dozer(which never fails to make me hungry everytime I play), Wedoodle( please add me, Fifimistica), wordswith friends and checking out on new apps in App store! Even my mum is hooked into playing with my Iphone! I can hardly use it when I'm home! Well, at least that perks her up when I m home! :)

Alright! I gtg now to play Wedoodle! Staying at home can be quite dreadful when there is nothing much to do! Heading to the bf's house later to enjoy my holiday!

A Fearful Experience

If you were to ask me to decide my future, I think I have got the exact path of life I wanna create. This 2 days had been a torture for me. After a 4 days MC and a festive break, I was back to the reality life of finishing a truckload of work. It wasn't a happy start of a Thursday as I was as usual tasked a couple of unbelievable tasks to complete. The stress level intruded my life and I was trying to calm my anxiety down with a cup of Tea with milk(my fav.). I was trying to start on with my work when I suddenly I felt a numb feeling at the back of my head. I was scared stiff and being the usual PARANOID woman, I felt nauseous and giddy. It got even worse when I couldn't concentrate on my work and even walking around. I just felt like collapsing down at any moment.

Thinking that drinking another huge cup of my favourite tea would perk me up a little more, I bought another glass of TEA with MILK. It didnt get any better of course. I was really scared at that very moment as the job task kept multiplying and my illness kept deteriorating. I headed home right after the clock strike 6 as I couldn't concentrate anymore longer.

Back home with the concern of my family members, I felt even worst as I got even fearful of the current state I was. I guess it was the caffeine from the tea that had gotten my anxiety level higher. I felt super gan cheong and nauseous. I didnt even know what I was doing and suddenly, my hands and feet got really cold. My dad carried me to my room and mummy made milo for me when she realize that I had only bread the whole day( thanks to my diet program). I tried sleeping to get the pain off my head but as I lay down on the pillow, my head just felt that it had a BALUKU on it. I didnt really dare to get into my lala-land as I thought I won't be able to wake up anymore(very silly I know... thanks to the TEA again!). My eyes was wide open the whole night and I just felt very scared yet anxious (over nothing). It was as though my bf had broken up with me.

One hour passed after another and soon, it hit 7am! I tried to appear fine and headed to work as I thought that it won't be nice to get another day off. Daddy told me to give him a call if anything happens and I left home with a tear dropped at the door step. Upon reaching the office, I felt extremely cold and sick. Some colleagues of mine made me hot milo when they saw me shivering. I tried to stay focus with that website maintainence but to no avail. I GAVE UP at 11am when I decided to see a doctor.

Darling came to pick me up and I was glad that the doctor told me that it was a normal illness. I told him that I was scared that something bad would happen and he laughed and say.. WHAT COULD HAPPENED? I felt silly of course and after the much assurance, I'm much better. It was actually a stress-related illnesses where you feel as though your brain/skull was squeezed by a spanner. It's not pain but you just feel as though you have a big baluku on your head. I was glad that it was a minor illness and I promised myself to take lots of care from today onwards. NO MORE LARD, FATS, EGG YOLKS, OIL, DIETING PROGRAM and UNHEALTHY FOOD! I will never stress myself so much again and would promise myself to exercise more and eat more fruits and vegetables. It was a super FEARFUL EXPERIENCE I swear which till now, I'll never forget this day again.

Hi Friends! I'm back after a long hiatus! As usual, I was too busy with work that I couldnt find time to blog about my fabulous life out there. I'm really glad that despite the heavy load of work, I could still find some time to do chill-out session with my bestie on the week after last friday.

A wine to perk the lovely evening

I'm glad that I have a friend like you.. lala! (Ah... I feel fat here!)

In the past, I've always thought that friends are not an important asset as long as I have a great boyfriend. However, I have just realise that it is so wrong to have such mentality. Friends are equally important as a boyfriend. After entering into the working society, I realised that there are times that I just need to bottoms up my happiness/unhappiness which happened at work. I couldn't date my bf out at times as he had to mug hard for his exams/test bla bla bla... or maybe I just feel wierd to just date my bf out, order 2 glasses of wine, pour out my stories, listen to the band playing and head home for a sleep after that. I COULD JUST DO IT AT HOME AT A MUCH LOWER COST! It's so different doing it with a group of friends or maybe just one! (FYI: Baby, I'm not saying that you're lousy.. you're still the best!) I'm sure many gfs of my would totally agree with my saying! There are just some time that you just need to have a gf to shop/eat/drink with you. So, I'm glad that I have a lovely gf who is willing to spend money with me to drink, eat, shop and even head to the saloon with me! *hugs Lala*

On the following Monday, I had to go for a wisdom tooth extraction. It wasn't necessary for that extraction and so I was contemplating. Upon reaching the dental clinic, I was still having second thoughts. I discussed with the dentist and she thinks that if I would not want any unnecessary pain in the future, then I should plucked the wisdom away! I don't know what courage got into me, that I agreed and there comes the injections! It wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be! The pain was endurable and I did not even know that the tooth was extracted at all! It was overall a good experience. The extraction was fully claimable by medisave! It was sort-of free and what's best... I had 5 days MC!

It was quite boring to be at home somehow! Tv shows were not as exciting and all my friends were WORKING! All I could do was to catch some online HK drama.

Time pass like a speed of a bullet train, before I knew it, it was already Friday! My wound got better and I decided to carry on with the meet up session with the uni project mates. I guess it was cause of my desire to head out of the house that I took more than usual to get myself ready.

I am a weatherman when it comes to make up. It depends on my mood. If I'm HAPPY and EXCITED.. I will apply great stuff on my face.. if not.. I will simply just put on my black eyeshadow and shade my brows. On Friday itself, I applied on this really fantastic BB cream from Nature Republic.

Thanks to my sis who had gotten it free from her boss. I didnt quite believe my sister at first when she told me that most koreans uses this in Korea cause she's not as make-up savvy as compared to me( come on.. she don't have that much free time to read up on beauty tips at all!). So, when I ran out of foundation before flying off to Taiwan the other time, I had no choice but to try out on the BB cream. To my HOLY SURPRISE... it seriously does wonders to my face.

Adam was trying his best to influence me but well.. life was rather impt to me than a glass of HOEGARDEN!

A tiring long weekend

I had a really awesome Thursday night with bestie when we decided to chill at Acid bar again. Acid bar is seriously the best place with the best musics. Despite it being the EVE of a public holiday, Happy hour is still on! I had a 1 pint erdinger for only $9.90 nett! The live band didnt disappoint me either as he sang cantonese music by Beyond. He's just really amazing.

After a pint down my stomach, I had to rush down to PS for a movie with the bf and friends. It was Social Network that I'm catching. Probably 1 pint was pretty too much for me that I felt a little drowsy walking from Acid Bar to PS! Thank god that I manage to cool off my mind and focus on that fantastic show.

Friday came and I was stuck at home clearing my untidy room once again. Having to share a room with a sister who don't helps to pack seriously IS DIFFICULT! I had to pack for hours and I GAVE UP when I saw her desk littered with receipts and paper bags! *white flag raised*

Headed down with the bf to Chomp Chomp to have desserts but because I didnt want to grease my hair with those smoke, I chose Frolick over chicken wings/satay/mango sago! Probably because I'm a marketer myself, I tend to ask alot about their current promotion so when I saw their loyalty programs, I questioned them like an interviewer! Haha! I'm quite amazed how frolick does their marketing! It's really good!

Well.. it's quite sad that I wont be pursuing my marketing career for long now as I will be moving on to a new place very soon. I'm quite glad that I was being chosen among other better candidates and knowing that it's my wish to be part of that fantastic company, I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST!!

Alright, it is time to go now! Boring Saturday again today as I slept throughout the whole evening!

An eventful week again

I really love it when I know there's something to look forward to for the week. Everyone knew that yours truely had gone for a short Taiwan trip.

Pardon me a little as I really adore how my face reflects over here like an eggshell! Seriously, the BB CREAM from Nature Republic really does wonders!

that's me once again with my flight to Taipei! I'm really glad that we chose SQ for that 4 hrs flight!

The flight was great especially with in-flight entertainment of SATC, GLEE and Gossip girls! However, I was pretty unlucky to meet up with a baby who left a stench of puking and his pregnent mummy who fainted upon landing. It was quite dramatic when the airline crew had to call upon doctors on board. It was indeed quite scary when the baby was crying loudly with many passengers shouting for EMERGENCY!

After half an hour of routing, we manage to reach the airport safe and sound. We were kinda con by the temperature stated as it was awesomely sunny and hot for the whole of 4 days. Well, at least the typhoon had move to china! Hehe!

It took us another hour to reach the city! Ping lang mei is almost everywhere on the street!

the first thing that caught my attention was the automatic toilet bowl in the hotel room. It's just so cool! It emits unwanted smell after your business INSTANTLY! Why doesnt Singapore hotels have such toilet bowls when we are paying thrice the amount?

Went to look for our dinner at Shi Lin after checking in. Seriously, I'm not quite a Taiwan Food lover! I don't really like how each food tasted in my mouth!

Imagine seeing this everywhere along the street with the infamous CHOU TOFU!

The food tasted cold and salty almost all the time! The chicken cutlet in singapore tasted much better than Taiwan! ONE thing that Singapore might be lacking is.. THE BUBBLE TEA! Sigh... the bubble tea is really one thing NOT TO BE MISSED! Especially those without MILK in it! It's like heaven!!

Really regretted when I saw..

and ordered without any hesistation. I mistook the veg as asparagus and after a huge bite, I puke the whole thing right into the plastic bag! As for the corn, it wasnt SWEET CORN to my dissappointment! It was some LAO HONG corn! Seriously, who will like LAO HONG corn? Bleah!

Orh Ak Jian which tasted more like starchy egg! Singapore is 10 times better! A big sigh!

Queer Food : Pig's blood with peanuts!

We went to Jiu fen and had to take a public bus! It was a great experience having to take the public transport. It just felt so old school!

The fashion in Taiwan wasnt really to my likings too! Probably its the season as it is approaching winter! Things sold there are mostly florals and laces( something like Vivi)! F.Y.I it is not as cheap as what you think! My clothes cost mostly around $20 plus and my sis even bought a winter jacket at S$200 at Wu fen pu! Probably it is the crowd that I was with that didnt make me enjoy the trip as much as I wanted to? But my aunties and parents never failed to make me laugh like mad too! It's a great family trip I would say but as for the shopping wise.. Not really that fantastic! I still prefer Hong kong over Taipei!

I LOVE TAIWAN

It's 7 47 in the morning and I'm not heading to WORK nor am I getting ready for it! I'll be flying to my favourite country for the year which is... TAIWAN! After hearing so much from the boyfriend, I guess it is time to head to TAIWAN with my family. Anyway, this trip is fully sponsored by CHAN brothers cause my sister had won some online contest to bring the family out for a trip. Though it is just a 4 day 3 night trip, I'm sure it will be the best family trip I ever had. My favourite aunties will be joining along too so yea.. it will just add excite to it! Darling had been a really sweet one too when he send me an email on regards to where to shop as he knew that non of us are free to do some itinery planning. It's really sad that he wont be able to join us this time round but baby, I promise you that we will be heading down taiwan next year too ok?

The beginning of this week was quite a disappointing one as I thought I would stand much higher chances compared to the rest but I guess I have lost out in the battle field. I must admit that I felt really sad and a little useless when there were no calls but but but.... I have manage to overcome them and think positively that I will TRY IT ONCE AGAIN! YES! YOU BETTER GIVE ME A CHANCE AGAIN!!! PLEASE! Everyone was hoping for you to change my life but I guess somehow my capabilities wasn't recognised by you this time! Never mind about the past, just bring it on the best future for me!

OK! Its 8am soon! Gonna start preparing and head out at 10am! BABY, before I fly... I shall be the first to ANNOUNCE again...

My story about WORK!

At some point of the time, I realise that I have started to grow up in terms of mentality and behaviour. Things that I used to think it was FUN, EXCITING and CHALLENGING became rather monotone nowadays.

My time for Monday and Friday would be waking up with a sleepy mood, walking to the bus stop with a dreadful mood and my energy would kick start like a washing machine when I stepped into the office! I will start with the checking of emails, brainstorming what should be done for the day, attending several meetings and making phonecalls to many people! Work though sounds rather stressful but I'm glad that I have a wonderful Indonesia boss who teaches me alot of tips and tricks and an experienced manager who showed me how PR skills and communication can make a difference in life! I really have to thank their existence in my working life in Waraku!

During the weekends, I will start to brainstorm ideas for promotions so that I can share with these people my ideas and see if they had any opinion! Its really great when I can see my ideas being appreciated by them! :)

I would really hope that I can be someone with a good leadership and decision making skills.

I was in my corporate outlook with my pair of contact lenses. I reckon that it doesnt seems like what I thought I would be. I feel old and serious for a moment. I must admit it wasnt really what I wanted to be since young. Age is indeed catching up and I think it is time to splurge on expensive face care products for now.

Remember that I did mention about the PS3 MOVE? The game that I said.. I MUST BUY! Baby and I finally bought it after many comtemplation. The price was cheap but we just didnt want to splurge on it at that time till we couldnt resist the temptation ANYMORE!

We bought the bundle set at $100 plus! It comes with a game, controller and a video camera that allows me to take take picture to save it on FACEBOOK! How COOL is that.

We bought the party set cause the kungfu just didnt seems that attractive. In this game, I had to brush the crocodiles teeth, catch birds and do colouring! It's quite fun if you're playing with a group of friends. I felt a little bored after playing it for 15 mins! Darling hated this game cause he just didnt like GIRLIE Games(-_-). We bought another sports game just to suit his likings! The sport game was fun(thank god!)! I was trying my best to clear the challenge for the volleyball competition. Manage to get a Bronze medal.. and am fighting for the silver now! Gee!

I simply cant wait to head to his place again to whack those volleyballs! Hehe!

It had been a busy week for the both of us. Bf's grandma had recently passed away in her sleep. It was quite a shocking news and I felt so bad that I couldnt be physically there for him since I was having a meeting when he tried calling me for 2 hrs plus. He sounded really sad and anxious when I finally made the call to him. The funeral was held for 5 days and I was there on 2 nights. I finally had got the chance to meet all his relatives who are really wonderful people.

Days after the funeral will be busy for the family too as they had to perform some ritual every week and that would means lesser meetups! It's alright since I will be flying off to Taiwan soon.. but seriously.. I do find myself missing him more now! Absence do make a heart grew fonder. Love u my dear!

I'm starting to feel lazy to update this space of mine. There were times that I felt like heading home straight from work to blog about my happiness/~~saddness,~~ but the thought decided to be over shadowed by my tiredness/laziness. I wish to be the carefree girl that I used to be who could blog 2 times a day.. but this seems like a task now that I'm working.

This week is a famly week for me. Stayed over at the boyfriend place on Friday to receive some love. I was rather deprived for it after some issues. It was a great early friday as I knock out damn early on that very day.

Saturday came and I force the boyfriend of mine to have MEE SIAM with me for breakfast. Read my Vivi magazine that the boyfriend bought for me to surprise me on a bad Friday! It was mummy's birthday and I'm glad that it was a full attendance family gathering. Jie jie bought her Counsel bf along and I brought mine! It was really nice to see such thing! We didnt take much photo as we were too obsessed with the dishes.

I'm glad that Mummy is looking much vibrant now despite the illness she has. She still looks good for sure and I really pray that she will get better as days goes by. Everytime I look at her, I feel glad that she's my mum! Till date, she's still playing MAPLESTORY and feels sad everytime that the connection got lost before she could collect the rare items. Well, at least this will make her forget any unhappiness she is getting.

Caught a movie(CHEN ZHEN) after that with the boyfriend after the sinful yet delicious meal. Went to meet my husband in the movie theatre! DONNIE YEN! Dearest DONNIE! He looks so sexy that even his ass was omgoodness cute! The show was great but a little disappointing that it has no ending! I guess there's part 2 even though we thought SHUQI was dead! Wierd ending I must say but nevertheless, it was great! The martial arts are quite like IP MAN though!

I finally had my family photoshoot done after so many years of procrastination and waiting. I was glad that Jie jie and I had a sister shot together too! Grandma came along to have the photoshoot and daddy paid quite a lump sum of money for all the photos taken. Broadway does has its professionalism when it comes to sales. They introduced mostly the expensive shots everytime they speak. Because it was a long awaited family portrait, my dad spend a thousand plus on 3 photos! They even wanted my grandma to take a self shot but thank god that my grandma was smart.

I done my own makeup for the photoshoot. Though it was very perfect but at least it was much nicer than expected. I applied all the skills I had gathered through online for this very day and thank goodness that it didnt look too horrible.

I manage to bump into Min Li(shopaholic babe) at the studio too! It was cute to see her daddy, brother and her in their graduation gown! I told my dad about how cute it was and he laugh it off and say.. but daddy didn't graduate from any uni aeh.. mei you zhe me da the tou bu neng dai zhe me da the mao zi! Hehe!

I look fat here but at least for once.. I feel like a grown up!

Something happened during dinner just now that I have to annouce! I met a really rude driver just now at AMK! She was reversing when my dad was very near to her car. My dad horn a couple of times to stop her from reversing while he reverse. She continued to reverse despite the incessent horn and finally came to a stop. My dad made his full reverse and when she was in the parking lot, she gave my dad a stare and point him a middle finger! It was like.. WHAT WAS THIS FOR? We are trying to be nice to avoid any accidents to occur but she didnt even feel grateful to it and even reprimanded us! What happen to all the smiley singaporeans? URGHH.... I fully understand now why my dad taught me not to be so nice if I happen to be in an accident cause it just doesnt pay to be nice!

Alrighty.. gtg now to have a good rest before works piles up tomorrow. :)

My very first pair of lens!

Call me Swa Gu swa hai or mountain tortoise or so whatever... but yes! Today marks the very first day that I put that little black lens into my hazel brown eyes! I was a little excited when I knew I had to attend my lens courses today! The boyfriend was scaring me off with all the infection story but NOPE.. IT STILL DID NOT STOP ME FROM FEELING EXCITED!

The opticianist( or whatever you call them) started by asking me to wash my hands with Kirei Kirei! I didnt know that it smell so nice! As a noobie, I decided to get the branded lens.. namely.. FRESHKON! The lesson started and I had so much difficulty stuffing that lens into my right eye! I teared a few times but the lens just doesnt seems to leave my fingers. When the 2 lens finally got into both of my eyes... it sparkled like diamonds! It's so big that I thought they were longan seeds. Removing it doesnt seems much of a problem since I'm always removing lashes stucked in my eyes!

I walk with pride with a little discomfort but I still love the shiokness of not wearing glasses! It looks so stunning that I felt like purchasing another lens! Hehe! I went to shop ard online and gotten myself a...

And so it's finally my birthday. I was quite busy for the whole week that I totally hadnt had any mood to do any celebration. I had initial plans to give some bestie a dinner treat but the feeling just died down when I was given alot of design task to do at work and there are so many things for me to complete!

I felt a little bad that I kinda vent my anger on the boyfriend when he wasn't listening attentively on the phone. I even thought he didnt had much plans for my bday that I told him that I would simply get myself a small cake to celebrate my silent lonely bday.

Until....

He screamed at me and say 'HOW YOU KNOW I AM NOT DOING ALL THESE FOR YOU'
and at that moment.. I thought he was bullshitting cause I know my bf too well that he's not that kind who would do silly things like giving surprises!

so on the 14th.. I told him that I am giving myself a birthday treat to stay over at his place. He agreed and told me that he is heading for his afternoon nap after his revision. For the entire 4 hours, I was rushing for artwork that I totally forgotten about the existence of my BOYFRIEND (oops!). I'm that sort that when it comes to work, I will totally put 100% concentration to it and seriously.. I'm glad my bf is the understanding sort who wouldn't scream at me for such moments! *thank god* And so back to the topic.. I happened to meet Min li (my shopaholic friend) for some after work relaxation. She was complaining about some stuff that she suddenly thought about my bf and told me....

ML: OH.. I SAW YOUR BF TODAY!
Me: Cannot be la.. I think you saw the wrong person!
ML: Cannot be la.. he still wave at me lei (*show waving action*)
Me: Oh.. I smell something fishy.. I think he is giving me some surprises.. Aiya dun care about him (*evil laughter*)

So after purchasing my urban decay primer at 2 for $46! I went off to my bf's place with occassional laughter! Hehe! I had to prepare myself to STOP laughing in order to have a great show! I wanted to see how my bf show his surprises to me! But.. I also had worries that probably he had gotten me the urban decay primer as well or maybe.. he didnt get me anything and then I will be happy for nothing!

I remained calm and had dinner with him! I tried to search the drawers when he was out of the room! Finally, I found a card in one of the drawers and we both laugh at each other! He told me the story about how he say Min Li and I told him my part of the story! It was quite silly! Then.. I asked him... if it is really THAT'S ALL! It's quite sweet for him to get me the card but was it really THAT'S ALL?

Went over to TGIF for dinner! I was again very upset with their services despite making a reservation! Total damaged on food was $90! I doubt I will be returning again without that voucher! It is far too overpriced for such services I am getting!

But the food was really good!

Mummy's day out

The very last time when I brought mummy out for some theraphy was a year ago before I started work! I couldn't really afford a big present then cause of the cash restriction I had. I must admit that she was the cash Pillar I had when I have to get anything off the shelves. Though my dad does give me some allowances every month, but when there are times when I had to get something extravagant, I had to resort to looking for my mum who is much willing, less grumpy and most impt.... she doesnt DECLINE after hearing my reasons!

Obviously, I will not ask for a huge sum of money! The maximum I have asked so far was... a digital camera which cost $600 plus! But that was because I find a need to capture memories for domestic purposes! My sister did reprimanded me but guess what.. She was the one who spoilt the camera!

So on Wednesday, I was really having a hard time at work rushing all the madness assignments! I decided to give myself a good break time on FRIDAY! That was when I decided to give mummy a good hair treatment for her birthday! She was complaining that she wants to do something to her hair.. and thus I decided to bring her along to Oasis de Salon to glam up herself especially for the graduation photoshop that is happening on 26th Sept!

I'm really happy with the outcome that Oasis de Salon did to my mum's hair! It made her look so much younger! Yoong even straighten her hair for free when my mum stated her enquiries! I'm happy to see that my mum is so happy with the outcome. Mummy even told me to bring her to that salon again when it is nearing CNY! She was so happy that she took a photo with that lovely hairdresser of ours! I'm really glad that both of us were happy with the result that Yoong had given us!

My hair is straight and my mummy hair is chio! *woots*

Hi friends! I know I have been neglecting this bloggi of my for really long! I was really tight up with work especially now when my colleague is on leave! To make it worst, I'm down with a bad flu! Grr!

Anyway, life for me have been great! Manage to meet up with quite a couple of friends in this month. Family bonding was even stronger now and I could finally feel the love! My sister have even gotten herself a lawyer boyfriend! Wee! I had my convocation last 2 weeks and my dad was so proud of me that he brought along his camera and video cam along! *shy*! My dearest Ah chan even came down with a stalk of my favourite SUNFLOWER to congratulate me! My sweetheart was even sweeter when he came down with a graduation bear! I wanna also thank all those lovely friends who came for my photoshoot! Thanks thanks thanks!

I went down to suntec yesterday for the IT fare! I was so dress down cause we didnt expect to be there shopping for our Ipod dock especially after a small fight! Hehe! Then... I had to bum into so many friends on that very day! First it was Tiffi at Iluma then Xinyi on THE ROAD(yes.. my bf told me that he saw you as though he saw his friend!) and then it was JACYN whom I haven't really met up for ages! Ah.... so shy la! I wanted to just dig a hole and hide with my tee and shorts plus Slippers!

Well.. but the trip was really fruitful though tiring esp. with a bad flu!

It was priced at $78 bucks and it comes with a FM radio even! Our initial plan was just to get a FM radio cause I really love indulging music during my sleep! YES! Haha! Since now there's a good deal with a ipod dock with it.. WHY NOT! It even has a base system where I can feel abit of Tem tem tem!

I totally feel much more relax now with music in the bf's room! Else it will be just me with a book/shodoku book!

Next week will be a week filled with stress and opportunities again! Hope it will pass as soon as I wanted it to be! :)

First on list! IT's DESSERTS that I wanna talk about! Recently, I have found a secret hide out for stress-free moment! It's a place located at Serangoon Garden area! It was the boyfriend who brought me there during one of the surprise meet-up! He told me that he had checked out the sites to find out where to bring me for a good stress-free moments.

The mango sago is like HEAVEN! There are mini ice balls that goes well with the sweet pomelo! The durian mousse was very good too! It's like eating Durian Pengat! Totally sedap!

On top of the food, I love THESE from their shop too!

Any idea what they were? They are all.. 3D models that looks so real! They are displayed at the corner of the shop for your convenience of taking photos. I really wonder how did they manage to get those miniature stools and bins! OH MY! Their signs that are hanging around the cafe had cute meanings too!

However, the downside of the cafe would be the noise level and those waitresses from China. Other than that.. it's a rather lovely place to chill. They have wonderful magazine for your own leisure too! From Cosmo to Cleo to ViVi!

just before sending me home. I was throwing a little tantrum and the boyfriend decided to cheer me up by driving me all the way... SERENE CENTRE! *oops*

Hope you love that small gift we had gotten for u! :)

I had gotten the latest issue of Cleo since daddy was paying for it. I was flipping through it the other day.. and SAW this pair of really amazing heels! I happened to watch a video about the dressing sense for convocation from a fashion guru! She thought me to wear a pair of gold shoes to match my gown as GOLD symbolises VICTORY! Thus, I had been looking around for a pair of lovely gold heels for a few months till I saw THIS!!

However, the price kinda Eerks me!

Then, I decided to make a trip down to Nine west to see if the shoes fit! I was hoping that it won't fit well so that I won't have to spend money!

But to my dismay, it fit perfectly and there was only 2 pieces of size 5 in the whole SINGAPORE! It was so exclusive that I just HAVE TO GET IT! I went home (after my 2 free tickets to Step up 3 (3D) given by a kind soul) and told my shoe-lover sister about it to see what opinions would she give.

She was quite supportive!

I mean so SUPPORTIVE that she smsed me the next day...

'GO GET THE PAIR OF SHOES LA, CHARGE IT TO MY CITIBANK ACC (yea.. she sup a card for me under her acct).. THIS SHALL BE UR BDAY PRESENT!'

Therefore, I rushed to Isetan during lunch to get that 1 and only pair and I was so happy that I flaunt it to my colleagues!

I have a WONDERFUL SISTER!

*p.s: I know it is not good to buy shoes for someone.. but I will pay her a dollar to get rid of it!

On top of that pair of shoes, this little girl who is my neighbour told me something that totally brightens me the whole day...

Bangkok Day 4

It's finally the last day of the fantastic trip! I felt a little sad on that day even though I'm still going back to Platinum mall to conquer the very last few shops. We went to MBK again to get Naraya stuffs and we finally set foot to that Siam Square! It was like a street in Hong Kong called Gwandolen Street( I'm not that sure with the spelling)! There, it sells very expensive yet nice clothes! It was a rush shopping trip and therefore we ended up having A and W for lunch!

They have very special set display for its food! Very thoughtful!

I think it would like much better if they could end it off with 2 sesame seeds on its eyes! hehe!

Very nice advertisement display I must say! They even have wireless network in the street! HOW COOL IS THAT!

After a good hearty meal of A n W! We made a trip back to the hotel to pick our luggage up and headed off to the airport! Seriously, I HATE DEPARTURE DATES! Cause that would also mean the start of REALITY life again!

We wanted to try the mango rice for the past few days but never have the courage to order it! It cost really cheap in the city! But.. we decided to act atas and try the $7.50 one INSTEAD! HAHA!

The flight back was a little bumpy! I didnt get to sleep at all during the flight! Despite that the trip was a short one with not much time spent on shopping. I still did enjoy myself loads! Like I mentioned in the first post that it was the first time traveling with my boyfriend's parents, it was still not as bad as I thought it would be. I saw the other side of them during the whole trip. I managed to speak up and converse with them more and they never complain anything about my shopping habits at all! His mum was so nice to accompany me to every shop to give me advices and his dad was so helpful to carry my loots too! :)

I seriously did enjoy every single part of the whole trip!

Oh! We were so in love with one of their Thailand's tidbits that we bought....

I'm really tired after a day of work but I'll still blog diligently!

The third was a super rushing day. We had to head to Chatuchak to shop! But while waiting for the cab to JJ market, we tried onto the swing at our hotel. It was helluva hilarious on how we tried to jump on it together!

We continued doing some last minute shopping at Platinum mall and we had to do it a fast one as time wasn't on our side. Before we could finish the last 2nd level, the whole shopping mall started shutting. We had a very quick dinner at Platinum food court which was HORRIBLE! His dad bought us bird nest which was like water! The night ended short on that very day as we were too tired to go anywhere else. Dear and I continued walking along the streets to search for more stuff but to our disappointment. I pluck up my courage to try the cup corns with carnation milk! The corn was nice but the carnation milk was too wierd! Dear bought a AnW float for himself and we ended the night with....

Since there wasnt much to do on the very last night even though I wish I could do something outside, we ended up packing our luggage! I must admit that I didnt get as much item as compared to the past few trips but I must say that the items I bought this time are really pretty!

I was a little apologetic to my bf though! He bought only 10 tees due to the time restriction. The place that we thought was a Men's heaven was closed due to DUNNO WHAT REASON! I could see the sadness in his face when we tried going 2 times only to leave with sadness! Sorry dear! You know I love you!

Bangkok Day 2

I'm very sorry for the late update. So what's with day 2 of my Thailand trip? It started with a good breakfast at the hotel. I simply love how they prepare their eggs. Its so addictive that I totally forgotten about CHOLESTROLS! It is a must for me to order a sunny side up and an omelette else that would make me a very grumpy Felicia!

We continued with our shopping spree at Platinum cause seriously.. the 5 levels is not a JOKE! I would recommend you to get their map from level 1 with you so that you can circle those shops that sells lovely clothes so that you can hop back to the shop if you want something more.

We walk to another shopping centre to have our lunch. We couldnt decide what to have for lunch since we will be having something good for dinner. We ended up at MACDONALD! Their mac seems 10 times more posh than Singapore. Anyway, saw that thing on my head? That head band cost less than 5 bucks at Bkk! I bought 4 head bands to glam up myself in the hot country.

We went to other places such as the Levis factory outlet and Jim Thomson factory outlet but well.. it is not really worth going for. Nothing cheap there. We took a train to Chinatown for dinner and finally... after 3 trips to BKK... we get to eat....

I was nearly scalded while on my way to the restaurant by those road side vendors. Some idiot threw hot oil right on the floor just 5 cm away from me! Thank god.. that I JUMP on time and gave him a big stare.

We went to Suan Lum after that and was HELLUVA dissappointed! I guess Suan Lum shops have started closing down. A handful of them opens in the night only and it was on FRIDAY! It was like so dead compared to the last 2 visit that I went. I bought a thai boxing pants from Suan Lum market only! :( I couldnt find the manicurist that did wonderful cheap nails anymore!

After a long day out, we finally head back to our hotel to have a quick shower b4 going for our body massage just a stone throw from our hotel. It cost only $10 for 1 hr! We were brought into the VIP room and 4 of us just KNOCK OUT while they were cracking our bones! There's only one word to describe the whole hr... SHIOK!!

Overall, I think that bangkok shopping spree only happens in NARAYA and Platinum mall! You can try heading to Siam Square too.. but.. things there isnt that cheap either. Please also bear in mind that Platinum mall and other wholesale mall closes at 8pm sharp. There's nothing really much to do after 8pm other than a good massage, groceries shopping at siam paragon, having a good meal at posh restaurants like Banyan Tree or drinking their $4 Heineken in the comfort of your hotel room. Don't dont don't go to Patpong for couples.. cause those pubs hostress will never let you off! They follow you everywhere you go saying 'GOOD GOOD ChEAP CHEAP THAI GIRL SHOW'! Don't ever go into such pubs cause you wont know if you can come out alive!

Bangkok day 1

The journey to the airport was a little different from the previous trip as I'm in the cab together with parents. I was so excited yet I can't scream 'EXCITEMENT' out! I was a little worried too that I might portray a bad image in front of his parents during the trip.

We checked in our luggage within moments upon reaching. There wasn't much to walk about in the airport at 6 plus in the morning even though the shops were open. There's victoria secrets, fragrance shops and alcohol shops.. but I just didnt want to scare the parents so early! So.. I tried to endure and make a fast glance as fast as I could.

I finally get to try the eggs and bread from Killiney Kopi Tiam! I don't know if it is because the outlet is situated at a fast moving environment that they have cold breads and eggs. :(

Two hours later, our flight finally arrived at BKK! His father was surprised with how Bangkok Airport looks like while I felt monotone but excited about the shopping spree more! We took a cab down to our hotel. Thank god that the taxi drivers was nice to charge us NORMALLY! I seriously hate some taxi-drivers at Bkk when they just kept mum when we first asked if it is METER as if we spoke some foreign language.. and then drive us for a distance(without turning on the meter), only to speak a fluent english after a km out in the middle of the road that they want more MONEY! I'm so going to learn Thai languages VERY SOON so that I won't be cheated!

We started our first day with 2 levels at platinum mall. It was a little embarrassing when his parents followed me throughout my bargaining and nonsense moments but his mum just LOVES tagging along with me. She even gives me advices on the clothes I chose! I buy like as if the whole building is giving free clothings! I'm like a MACHINE! We went over to MBK to get his parents stuffs in the afternoon and not forgetting NARAYA! *screams* His dad couldnt stop taking photos of the burnt central world. I felt a little sad that the Big Naraya store is closed for the badly burnt mall. Only Isetan is opened among all the shopping stores in Central mall. We had our dinner at MBK due to the heavy rain and walked around the other shopping centres.

This ramen restaurant seems popular and they are so cheap! It is like AJISEN RAMEN but much better and cheaper! A set cost only $4 plus?

We ended the night at 11 plus as the parents were too tired after a long day. Headed down to 7-11 to get some cheap alcohols as well as my cheese sausages! Had a good bath at the bath tub and I slept so soundly at 1am! No words can describe a life like this. How I wish.. life could be that RELAXING in Singapore as well!

Since I was at Junction 8 buying the necessary ASSESSMENT BOOKS, I have decided to get the SD card reader for my SHDC SD card! It cost me a $20 to BLOG this entry! Heh heh heh!

OK! Let me track back on what had took place on 21st JULY! I was busy rushing the menus for the outlets and had to OT a little. Bestie was working at PS still and she had to wait for me a little while for our hair appointment. We had decided to do a hair makeover with Artica (As advertised in Bong Qiu Qiu's blog)! We went without our dinner as it was already late! However, Juno was really nice and patient to agree to do a 'SURPRISE' change for me and rebonding for lala! YES.. I totally trust my head to JUNO! I gave him the authority to do a colour change for me without telling him a COLOUR!

I must admit that it was a great relaxation therapy by just having someone to massage your head for half an hr! Juno is a really chatty guy.. and he is such a PERFECTIONIST when it comes to details. It was already 10pm when I'm finally done with my colour but that doesnt deterred him to do a perfect job for Lala still! FOR THE RECORD, Lala's hair was completed only at 2am IN THE MORNING! Tell me which hairstylist would stay till so late just to finish a HEAD! Not only does he style but he entertained us as well!

Boyfriend came to pick me up after my hair session. We left Lala in Juno good hands as we had a flight to catch in a few hours time. Dear came up to my place to help me with the luggage packing. I bid my parents goodbye and daddy was so lovely to give a Baht$3k to spend at BKK! I gave him a big hug and he gave me a big kiss in return! I left with a heavy heart as I was still quite worried with my THEN-PESSIMISTIC mother. Mummy shouted goodbye from upstairs and I swore I nearly CRIED when I saw her waving! I wrote her a note before leaving, telling her that I would want to see her sleeping without sleeping pills when I returned!

I continued packing my luggage when I was at my boyfriend's place. His mum wanted me to do some paper work for them before we fly off. I was sleepy but was too excited to get a wink. I was counting down to 4.30am to arrive. The countdown was accompanied by snores from my bf. I decided to wake him up at 4.15am to end the countdown earlier.

It was only at 5.30am that we managed to step out of the house! *oops*

Firstly, I'm really sorry about the lack of updates especially on the bangkok trips! My camera's SD CARD refuse to work on my SD card Reader and the cable is at my bf's place so I'm not able to blog about my fantastic trip to BANGKOK! Oh man... talking about bangkok makes me go hyper again! Life would be so splendid if I could just stuck my ass at bangkok longer! WHY? I'll tell you guys soon!! Don't worry!

Anyway, life at Singapore ain't that bad either(just abit boring!). I've got a tuition assignment AGAIN and its good $$$! My boyfriend misses me more after the trip(I don't know why too!) and my work is pilling up with upcoming promotions which my boss had given me the chance to show my capability! I'm starting to like my job a percentage more since my colleagues are not that bad after all! As for my mum's condition, she's getting more optimistic compared to the first week when she was told that she had thyroid cancer! I swear I was really upset when she had to undergo an op(for the first time) to remove the thyroid. I wasn't really sure what THYROID CANCER really was then and I cried every single day till I fall sick. Now that I have a better understanding that thyroid cancer is highly cure-able.. I felt much better now and this whole thing had totally brought my mum and I even closer than before.

My boyfriend was very supportive too when I was feeling very down. He accompanied me and calls me every now and then to ensure that everything was alright. He visits my mum and tried his best to cheer her up. I thank him sincerely for being there when I was in such shitty crisis. I will remember how you wanted to bring my mum for a checkup, how you wanted to get food for my mum and how you pat me to sleep when I had a sleepless night! Thank you baby!

Alright! I got to go off now to wake that piggy from bed now! ITS LUNCH TIME!

Here where we are nurtured with Tender and Loving Care.. that we may grow from day to day!!

YES! I'm glad that I'm still able to sing my secondary school's sch song! Recently, there was a BIG HOO HA in facebook regarding about our secondary school photo. Tags were exchange to and fro till my hotmail hit a 70 emails in the inbox! I didnt mind at all with that huge emails from FACEBOOK.. cause every single tag posted was filled with care, laughter and happiness that I wish I was the FELICIA back then!

There were only 6 girls in that huge class of 40 students! Being in the normal academic class, we are always seen as the notorious bunch of kids! However, all the teachers in our school know very clearly that our class are made up of strong bonds.. we love and care for each other that people might mistook us as siblings of each other!

At least it was during my secondary school that I learned how to play mahjong with my classmates! I remembered clearly that it was after our n levels.. and almost EVERY SINGLE DAY.. we will play at our place without fail. Surprisingly, our N level results were very good then. Things like getting punishment together as a class and doing the kallang wave when the teacher was writing something on the board are still stucked right in my head! Love letters from some guys are still kept as remembrance for my future grandchildrens! Detentions due to long fingernails and dyed hairs seems like it took place just yesterday!

Friends then were seens as a gullible kid.. but every single one had change into someone beyond recognition. Some have turned into mummy and daddy! Some had even gotten themselves a gf when they thought that it was almost impossible back in secondary school. Some had make it big (just like my bf who is studying in NTU - WHO HAVE EVER THOUGHT THAT AN AH BENG BACK THEN WOULD ENTER LOCAL UNI?)! Some had signed on for the nation!

Oh my.. I really wish I'm a student once again! At least that was when I found my true love...

Bishan Park Secondary School will definitely be one of my venue for.. my bridal photoshoot!

I'm here to introduce fruit lovers a very delicious yet healthy (but expensive) fruit call....

BABY KIWI

Darling's mum bought this packet of baby kiwi at a price tag of $4.90! It didnt cross our mind that it was actually kiwi instead of some wierd fruit. I'm glad that his mum bought these baby kiwi. It taste so juicy and sweet that a pop is NEVER ENOUGH! You just have to pop 4 of it to feel the kick and by the time you felt that you need more.. you have just finished a $4.90 worth of kiwi!

I was being brought up in a fruit-lover family. Since young, my dad will always splurge highly on fruits. When I say HIGH... it means really high! For the record, he bought

1. Mangoes - $8 each

2. Peach - $12 each

3. Mask Melon - $100 each (we have to frost it in order to have that winter feel)

4. Japan Grapes (those big grapes from Japan) - $120 per box (estimated to cost $1 for each grape I had pop into my mouth)

5. DURIANS - 1 durian for $50 or 4 boxes for $100 plus

yes! See how lovely my dad is when it comes to fruits. Everything can run out in my home except FRUITS! There will be at least a bunch of bananas lying on the table if not a few fuji apples. My dad buys only top graded fruits and seriously.. if you were to ask me what great things would I love to master from my dad.. I woul scream... 'HIS LOVE FOR FRUITS AND HOW HE CHOOSES THEM AS IF THEY ARE HIS GF'! Most of the fruits my dad picks are always sweet and tender. I must admit that because of his standards, I tend to be very picky with fruits that I ate outside.

Last saturday, darling's dad bought 15 durian back just because the family was craving for it. 15 durians is NO JOKE! I burped through the night while playing mj with lk and rest. The whole house stinks of our(bf and I) durian burps. The durians I ate at their place were although nice.. but somehow.. it just didnt win over those durian my dad bought this evening. The durian literally melt throughout the whole process of sucking. I felt that I was... erm.... *IN-LOVE*! YES! I finished up a whole box of durian for dinner! Can you believe it? HAHA!

I'm really glad and fortunate that I have such a lovely daddy! I LOVE YOU DADDY! Happy father's day!

Work Matters

I'm heading to my 5 mths in Waraku soon. Being a Marketing Executive for an FnB is indeed a very challenging job. I have to take every single opportunity seriously to promote Waraku effectively.

Just recently, we were informed that Wonder Girls will be heading to ILUMA for a meet and greet session. Iluma seldom have such grand events held at the premises.. and I thought that doing a promotion then will definitely garner truckloads of positive responses.

Without any hesistation, I came out an idea together with my colleague to give away our waraku mineral waters to the public during the Wonder girl event. We ensured all logistics were done accurately as the time scheduled for us was quite tight. We made our way down to Iluma to paste all the water bottle labels up on every bottles - it was time consuming (WE KNOW) but we had to get more students to know about our amazing offer! We started giving out the bottles at 4.30pm after getting our passes ready and thank god that the response for the day was unexpectedly GOOD! (The boss was very happy)

After a long working week....

Darling's mum decided to give us a treat at BARCELOS on Saturday. It was reported on the magazine that it is comparable with Nandos(the one I tried at Bugis with Lisa)! The critics review for Barcelos was good and having it situated just 1 level above Square 2 Pasta de Waraku, I was excited to know how good Barcelos really is.

The restaurant was quite empty upon my arrival even though it was already 1 plus in the afternoon. Despite the fact that the restaurant was quite empty, the food took quite long to be served too! The price (as you can see) are relatively cheap. They have not much of selection of food compared to Nandos. BUT but but... I totally love how juicy my chicken was served with PERI PERI sauce! I'm overall satisfied with the lunch especially with FREE FLOW OF DRINKS. Nandos charges even for mineral water! -_-!!!

I didnt manage to snap all my food! Hopefully this soup will portrays how much I love my food at BARCELOS!

Mani/Pedi at Veal International (Coverderm)

I'm here to do a short review about a Mani/Pedi Salon that I had just went! I have been really finding some time to do my nails since 2 months ago. Work is totally turning me into a turtle stucked at its own shell. All I could do most of the time is to SHOP only!

While doing my usual shopping one day, I happened to pass by Veal International at this new shopping center at Orchard Road. Their promotion totally caught my attention with the 50% for all mani/pedi services. I was a little skeptical for their unbelievable move as it is really too CHEAP for such MANI/PEDI in Singapore! $20 plus for a good theraphy of CLASSIC SPA MANI/PEDI... can u believe it?

I immediately told my bestie(lala) about the great deal since I know that she is definitely the best kahki to bring along for a good tai tai session. Made our reservation and viola.. we are all set and ready for our theraphy on a FRIDAY evening.

We rushed down right after work as we couldn't wait to have our massage done after a long day at work. The salon looks spacious and classy and their company does not only deals with mani/pedi but also imports Coverderm make up products(having 30% off now) and they are actually a partner with Cenosis Slimming Center! This made me even more flabbergasted with the current offer that they are having!

All their products are OPI. All the way from moisturizer to essence to nail polishes. Though they have quite a limitated array of colours but still their colours are enough to brighten up your whatever blues away.

Here's Lala.. enjoying her hand massage while I snap a photo of her when my hands are still free and easy. Her manicurist is an experienced makeup artist/manicurist who took great care of lala. She applied alot of essence on her nails for FREE so that lala will have great pretty nails after stepping out of the salon. How sweet and thoughtful right?

As for me, I had a young and pretty shanghai girl to do my nails. I kept admiring her tofu skin like every second of it! She told me it was Coverderm make up products that make her so pretty... I think it was her GENES that made her pretty instead!

We stayed more than 3 hours on our nails! Yes! It was the longest MANICURE/PEDICURE I had ever been to! I must admit that that was the major downside but.. I realise that it was due to their perfection and care that took the whole process so long. They even have massage foot bath for you to enjoy! I totally felt like a queen on that massage look-a-like chair.

We were so happy with their services that we took up their 10 times nails services package (consist of 5 mani and 5 pedi) at a price of only $114 nett. Where to find such good offer?

So as of now, I'm a happy girl with really pretty red nails! *love*

Me-Time

It is a Monday today. I had no plans of meeting my bf up and thus I decided to have some Me-Time. I went to Ion to check out on the Stage 70% sale (going for $6 for most eyeshadow) and then walk around the whole mall to shop! That's when I saw a few people holding onto some hangers.. walking around the shopping mall.

Being a curious me, I actually kept my eyes open for any marketing program for the hangers. Then... I saw it!! I saw a a stack of hangers being hanged right beside the customer service counter of ION! As a marketing executive myself, I am always curious of how other marketing campaigns are held and what is the purpose of it plus understanding how customer would respond to such marketing programs. I find that this hanger give-away is a rather cool idea but I doubt anyone my age or with customers with no big bags would actually get a piece of hangers or let alone notice what the hangers are for.

But.. I'm really curious.. that I actually....................

Hi everyone! It is Sunday once again! Work starts tomorrow and I do feel abit bored now! My weekend was filled with too much joy that I really didnt want the time to stop any minute.

I went to the IT show to check out the prices of my favourite camera, Ixus 130! I was pretty disatisfied with the discount given as I felt that I could definitely get a better offer as times comes by and so.. I halt my purchase a little while longer. Though it was a short trip, I still did enjoy the companion of my dearest bf!

I had a rather rough day the next day at work but everything was sorted out before I leave for another shopping spree with my gd friend, Lala! We had dinner at KFC as we wanted to save up the moolahs for something call... CLOTHES and SHOES! We walked around town and managed to get our eyes glued on a pair of Pink Pazzion pumps. I was still contemplating on getting it since the sizing isnt too comfortable to me! I hate my feet sizes sometimes... My left foot is smaller than my right foot and buying a right pair of heels is always a chore. I know getting the rubber is an alternative but at times I just don't allow myself to buy an expensive pair of shoes which couldn't fit me well. I kept my options open while lala decided to reserve a pair! After all the long walks ard town, we actually decided make an appointment for next week mani/pedi session to continue our TGIF night!

Went over to bf's place and ko-ed after getting myself washed up! A tiring Friday indeed!

Rise and shine as early as 8.30am on a Saturday! Woke my bf up as well to get ready for our weekly run! I ran an extra 500m today! Felt so accomplished! It is really funny that I'm much willing to run now compared to my secondary school days! I think I have improved my stamina and running speed as compared to the past. Wanted to have a good afternoon nap after a good meal with his mum.. but was woken up by Lionel Koh instead to book our tickets for KARATE KID! Yea.. I mistook the movie title as KUNGFU KID in FB as the word Kungfu is mentioned almost all the time in the movie.. whereas for the word 'Karate', it was mentioned probably 2 times? Lionel Koh came to pick us up for our shopping spree in town. YES... shopping AGAIN! This time, I made up my mind to get that pair of heels into my fifi's collection of shoes! Paid $70 plus which consist of the Pazzion shoe pad (-_-!!!) - the SA was too nice to be rejected! Had our dinner at Tampopo (voted as the best ramen restaurant) and it was way too disappointing! I expected something more from them! Went over for our movie after that and I would give 4 out of 5 popcorns for it! Xiao Dre is really cute in the movie! Mj session(AGAIN!!!) at Lk's house again! I went there once every week in this month that even his dad laughed at my appearance at the door step! Ha Ha Ha!

It was really great to still have such good friends around. Just 2 weeks ago, lk invited us - the mahjong kahkis, a good steamboat dinner(at 10pm) at his place.

This has totally win over WII in many ways such as GOOD GRAPHICS, Much HD, more exciting games and most impt.. THE GIRLS HAVE MORE GAMES TO PLAY ON PS3 now!! I totally advise you to quickly sell off you Wii asap to fetch a good price before Move comes out and those who hasn't get a PS3 and intends to get one.. PLEASE GET ONE NOW before the price increases! The move controllers will cost less than $200 I think! It is definitely a MUST BUY.. I will definitely get one for the bf and myself!

Other than the PS3, I have got myself hooked on Itouch games as well! Angry birds is seriously making me very angry each time round! I will get so pissed whenever it misses just a small distance but it never fails to entertain me in long distance bus route. Haha!

Ok! That's all for the gaming post! Do remember to pester your bf to get a band hero if he owns a PS3 or Xbox k? If its Wii then don't bother getting the game larh, it consist only 35 songs only! :)

A Family Day At Sentosa

My sister had won 7 tickets to take the hippo bus to travel around Singapore's tourist attraction spots. We woke up very early last Saturday (Despite the late night mahjong on Friday) and drove down to Sentosa to start our Hippo ride.

Since I was 16, my family hasn't planned any family trip. The very last one was a KL vacation when daddy went for his meeting. I will normally take the lead to bring my mum out of the hotel to take the cab and mono rail to KLCC and Mid Valley to shop!

So, having to win that 7 tickets through NFC competition really did bond our relationship tighter especially with the presence of my dearest boyfriend.

It was my first time sitting on a HIPPO tour. Actually, it is just a topless bus driving ard singapore. I don't really understand why would tourists pay $23 each to have a sightsee around Singapore. But well.. at least my was a topless bus, there's a Rhino bus which looks exactly like a.... AIR CON SBS bus which cost.. $23 too! Since it is free, I shall not complain so much! Haha!

I was feeling damn tired yet excited for the family trip! You can see those droopy eyes! Thank god that I wore sleeveless that day, I was BAKED!

I gobble up every single dishes on the table as if I hadn't eaten for days. Our Tan family with the presence of Lee had a good heart warming day with jokes, laughters and a good awesome meal. Woots!

Boyfriend have decided to bring me out to meet his uni friends. I have heard so much about them from him and I'm so excited to meet every single one of them. There's definitely something fun about them that make him so jovial every single day at school.

WJ's parents were out of town and he had planned a get together session at his place. It was also to celebrate their results day as it was also the day that their results were being released. All of them were pretty happy with their results especially my dearest bf who thought he would fail 2 mods but end up passing all of his papers with either a A or a B! He was seriously feeling damn down after the 2 papers and despite my many attempts of cheering him up, he was still feeling damn miserable.

I even thought of giving him a big treat if he flunk those 2 papers but now that he passes it with flying colours.. I think it is time for him to call for a celebration.

We will be heading for my SATC movie right after a good treat ( from my sis )! My sis actually bought us tickets to SATC and is planning to give us a treat to chalks! Hehe! However, there's one criteria, it is compulsory to dress in gold for the movie treat. -_-!!!

We had LOADS of fun at Mr Curry finishing up all our food. With the presence of my lovely Outlet Manager aka my friend.. my dinner seems so accomplished with jokes and laughters. The potato mentai taste great but I'm not really a fan of baked rice therefore I would recommend having potato mentai PIZZA instead if you are not a huge fan of baked rice just like me. The pizza taste much better for my tummy.

Mr Curry restaurants is decorated with a homely feel. I really like how my Japanese Manager places all the decorations. I actually organize a bloggers event the other time when Marina Square had their outlet opening and all of them just COULDN'T STOP SNAPPING AWAY! The lightings and decoration just make all the photos looks really great! Friends.. do remember to bring along your cameras when you're over at Marina Square Mr CURRY k? You will never regret what I say!

After that fantastic dinner! We made a stroll down to the HELIX! It was a long walk but it is all so worth it! The bridge was really beautiful with all that paintings, molecules and creative designs.

Cute right? Why is it that such things doesnt happen back in my days? If not, there might be a possibility that my art work will be on one of the signature poster of singapore! I'm just joking! Well, there are certainly more things about Singapore to draw now compared to the past! All we can drew then was... SINGAPORE MERLION, singapore flag(EASIEST) or singapore Changi airport. Now, there's esplanade, Marina Bay Resort, Sentosa, Helix Bridge and many many others!

My bf thinks that the lightings is nice and so it is his first attempt of artistic shot. -_-!!!

Kids are seen running around those lights. It is quite a beautiful scene to see how the lights dims and brightens.

Look carefully and you will see that there are actually HEARTS printed on those lightings. How can we not snap a photo of us with such a beautiful design!

WANTON MEE

I am very particular when it comes to Wanton mee. The noodles have to soft and chew-able and the gravy have to have that WANTON sauce.. (not just any BLACK SAUCE)! The ketchup they use must be of a standard! YES.. it is hard to win my taste buds especially when it comes to WANTON MEE!

You might wonder if there's really such a good wanton mee that suits my preference. HA! Well well.. definitely YES! I FOUND ONE!!

It is located in the Amk district so people who stays FAR FAR AWAY from AMK AVE 1.. you guys have to travel here for good food. It is definitely WORTH IT I swear.. and EVEN I had to walk for a distance just to taste that wonderful Wanton Mee ok!!

YES! That's me walking through those blocks! It was a Saturday Morning and my Bf and I took a stroll to the Hawker Centre just to satisfy my needs! It is good taking that long walk too especially after that heavy meal.

This is the Wanton Stall that I am talking about. We had to queue for the delicious Wanton mee! I've not try other dishes yet.. cause the thought of that Wanton Mee just crossed out other choices of food. The hawker center is at Blk 226 Amk Ave 1! On top of the delicious wanton mee, the cleanliness also makes me Love their service too! It is owned by a couple whereby the guy cooks and the women collects money! :)

Here's the Wanton mee that totally makes me drool now. The char siew is HEAVEN and the noodles is super DELICIOUS! When you mixed all of them together, you will certainly want another plate of Wanton MEE!

The best part is..... it cost only $2.50 for a small yet BIG enuff for my tummy. You might choose the bigger plate which cost only $3! Oh man... at times I really do wish to stay home everyday just to have this for breakfast cause mummy never fails to brighten my day with a packet of Wanton mee from Blk 226!!

But well, I have to accept the fact that.. LIFE STILL HAS TO GO ON WITHOUT WANTON MEE FOR BREAKFAST and WORK IS MORE IMPT!!

All About Food!

Last Saturday

After a good hair spa session on Saturday, Bf and I actually went down town to have a good shopping therapy. We got really hungry after hours in the salon and to avoid the crowd for mother's day, we had a very early dinner. We do not have much of a choices as most of the restaurants are either long queue or fully booked. We chose AOBA Ramen after seeing that the queue isn't as bad as the rest.

It was our first time at Aoba. The prices are reasonable and the ambience has a very nice authentic Jap restaurant feel. We had a complementary drink because of MOTHER's DAY (even when our mum wasn't with us)!

We had

1. Gyoza

I am not really a fan of Gyoza! The veg in those dumpings kinda turn me off. I had a try on one of the gyoza and it's not as bad as I thought it would be(though the veg smell is still quite strong). The sauce that comes with it complements well with the Gyoza.

2. Pork Ramen (of different sauces)

One thing that makes me a Ramen fanatic is their SOUP BASE and their EGG! We had 2 different type of Ramens for their different soup base. One had a more saulty taste but I LOVE THEM! The seaweed taste good too!

I had a great time at Aoba even though it was quite a rushing dinner as we had alot of shopping to do on that day. STILL, the food was acceptible for a hungry tummy!!

This Week

We had always wanted to try TGIF since a year back. But the queue always draw us back into having our first experience. Yesterday, while I was at Heeren to pass some stuff to the outlets and also to coach them about the changes and stuff, I realised that my tummy was GROWLING as if I had nothing for lunch (REALLY HATE THAT FEELING)! I told bf about it and that's when we realised, TGIF was still quite EMPTY! -It was only 6.30pm then-

We were given a seat at the outdoor area which kinda pissed us off cause there were actually seats at the air-conditioned area just that those seats accomodates 4 people instead of 2. The crowd wasn't really that bad I swear!!

We made our orders and waited for more than 30 mins for it to arrive. I was feeling a little disappointed with the services cause

The waitress kept ensuring me that the place was COOLING but I think I will know if it is really COOLING!
They didn't inform me about the seats in the air-conditioned area. -_-!!!
The food takes quite long to arrive

The food were quite pricey in my opinion. $19.90 for a Fish n chip and $24 for a Jack Daniel Chicken but after the food came, it kinda cheer me up a LITTLE MORE!!

1. My Fish & Chip

The serving was rather big. I love the soft flesh of the fried fish. It taste like Popeyes Fried fishes but 7 times better! The tar tar sauce wasn't that fantastic as I thought it would be. It is too sour for my taste buds. The fries was hand-made by them and it taste not just like any other french fries we had in other restaurants.

2. JACK DANIEL's Chicken

This is GOOD stuff!! I totally LOVE this dish so much that I had every single thing CLEARED before I left the table. Lets start with the broccoli! OMG!

The broccoli was HUGE and I simply love the scrunchy feel in every bite I had. I felt a quarter full when I ate up 4 stalks of broccoli.

The mash potato was still acceptible but my bf had finished up the whole thing before I have more tries of it.

The chicken breast was HEAVEN!! The sauce was.... GODDNESS! I love how the sauce adds favour into the chicken. It is sweet yet not too sweet! JUST NICE! It was so delicious that I pour it on my fish as well.

Overall, the food taste great but not the services that I had received. Totaly damaged of $51 for a hot and humid weather doesnt really make me happy girl but I do think that if they had me seated in an air-conditioned area with a plate of Jack Daniel's chicken, THEN THAT WOULD MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST GIRL ON EARTH!!

I am really happy when I realised that I am one of the lucky few to be selected for a movie event held at ILUMA BUGIS by OMY.SG!

WHAT'S MORE!! It's one of our (MY BF n I) MUST-WATCH-MOVIE during his school holidays and it is none other than...... *Drum Roll*

ROBIN HOOD

What I knew about Robin Hood before watching this awesome movie was that he was a hero who robs the rich to help the poor. He's also a very accurate Archer who is dressed in Green with a red hood. I was expecting RUSSEL CROWE to be dressed just like what I had imagine Robin Hood to be in the movie but well.... he disappointed me!!

I'm not lying right? He still looks as if he can fight and look for PEAS at the same time!! OOPS!! Anyway, the show was good. I really had a better understanding of WHO Robin Hood was and WHAT made him a Hero (not just by robbing). The story went as far as telling you WHO his Father was! COOL aeh?

I really did enjoy my show during that 2hr 20 mins! It was so exciting that I totally forgotten about my popcorns and my toilet break! -_-!!! The ferocious fight scene somehow reminded me about RED CLIFF (I don't know why too!!) and the scenary was so beautiful that I really feel like visiting those lovely mountains! Themovie had taught me a quote too...

'RISE AND RISE AGAIN UNTIL LAMBS BECAME LIONS'

ROBIN HOOD is definitely a show not to be missed!!

Flimguard Movie Theatre was super comfortable too! Their chairs are so clean and comfortable! I seriously can't stand some movie theatre with dingy cushions! HELLO... we are paying up to $10.50 for a movie ticket and dirty cushion is what we get?? NO WAY!!! I really have to thank OMY.SG for giving me this opportunity to watch such fantastic show at a fantastic place for free!!

Oasis de Salon

I was being introduced by a good friend of mine to Oasis de Salon back in poly days. Though I must admit that the location is a little too far for me, I will still make my way down to TIONG BAHRU just to enjoy that cheap and good hair services. I used to go there for expensive chemical services cause they charge relatively cheap for it. I had my first rebonding done over there with a FREE bottle of shampoo when I was younger. However, due to the location problem, I actually went to Shunji Matsuo for my normal haircut *oops*!

This time, I actually went for a hair treatment instead. My hair was feeling very dry after the many hours of staying in the office. The package she gave me was affordable and great. My hair felt so 'REVIVED' after that 1 hour of steaming. It now feels as though I had rebonding done. She managed to transformed my unkempt hair to a neat and tidy hair(even without combing) PLUS... it smell so nice that I thought there's a strawberry on my head.

I really must thank my friend(you know who you are) for introducing such a good deal for me. *twirls hair*

My Saturday Loots

It's finally a Saturday that I can set my foot in Town area for a shopping spree. Town was rather pack with people for its crazy Shoes & Handbag sale held at the Taka Atrium. Nine West shoes are going at a rather low price but what a pity that my foot was too princessy that I just couldn't FIT INTO THE RIGHT PAIR of heels. I was *THAT* close in getting a heels that are a size smaller for my left feet. The pair of shoe was really very pretty but with a feet that is smaller than the others, it was just too impossible to get it.

Clothes in town doesn't really suit my likings. I would rather get it in Blogshops than those seen in Far East Plaza Shops. Most clothes seen in FEP are sold everywhere in BLOGSHOP as well. I even saw a piece of jacket which cost TWICE THE AMOUNT of what I had paid for for the exact SAME piece in OHVOLA.com.

With that, I actually spend a good lump sum of money on COSMETIC products instead (which made me SO HAPPY as if I had strike a lottery.) So what have I bought???

First on the list...

MAC - PRIMER ($39)
I have always wanted to get a good primer since Bubz Beauty & Michelle Phan have always mentioned it in their makeup tutorials. They have always raved about how useful a primer is when you want a set of toned & shiny make-up. Knowing that a primer is essential, I was excited in getting one BUT yet quite reluctant to spend too much on a primer as I'm not quite sure on how it should be used. I shopped almost everywhere for a good and affordable Primer until I got to know that over at MAC, it is selling at an affordable price which looks very promising to me. I've actually wanted to get a Sephora Primer which cost only $20 but MAC had actually won me over with its glittery and shiny effect. I'm amazed on how fast it evaporates after application. It turns from Creamy to liquid to GEL.. and from WHITE to TRANSPARENT! It's definitely a good buy for a good make up I think!

MAC - Eye Concealer ($28)
I've actually wanted a Shu Umera eye concealer instead (Thanks to Bubzbeauty again!) but spending $50+ on a small tube of concealer doesn't really seems appealing to me. In one of my girly session with my best friend (Lavrina aka LALA), she mentioned that MAC do also sells good concealer and it is much cheaper compared to Shu. During my lunch time, I made a trip down to Mac to check out on their eye concealer and to my very big surprise, it cost only $28! I didn't manage to get it then cause I was late for work. So today while shopping, I went down to MAC again to have a good look at it again. After my enquiries on the coverage, the sales assistant applied some eye concealer on me to try out the colours which best suits me and I was so happy with the result. MY boyfriend who seldom compliment on my makeup even praise that the concealer made my eye bag disappeared and it so smooth that it seems as if I have used a miracle water from SK2 *-_-*! Because of his 'COMPLIMENTS', I made a purchase on the eye concealer as well.

My HAPPIEST LOOT of the day: SEPHORA - Mother's day special Make up kit ($59.90)
This was the best cosmetic set I had bought in 24 yrs of my life. I had read about it in this month Cleo Magazine and was so excited to lay my hands on it. 50 eye shadow + 10 lip colours + 5 blusher for just $60 is just SO WORTH IT! I was initially very disappointed when I went down to Sephora 2 weeks ago to get it but was told by their sales assistant that it was OUT OF STOCK! I was in fact so PISSED that I told them off that they should not advertised it then if it was out of stock! Today, while shopping for cosmetics in Sephora, I was so GLAD to SEE it again in SEPHORA! Then I realised that the Sales Assistant might have
mistook it for other products and wasn't sure that Sephora is launching this limited edition make up kit.
Yes, it is LIMITED EDITION because there's only 60 sets in each Sephora outlet to be sold. Taka have only a set LEFT and I'm so so glad that I'm one of the lucky few to get a set for my.... MUM too ( yea.. I will share with her too!!)! I wanted this set so much that I nearly bought it online when I thought it was OOS! Getting this set had totally MADE my day so much better!!

I'm really happy with my purchased today. I shall end this post for now as I'm getting really sleeping. I shall sleep with a smile throughout the night with all these loots. :)

GREETINGS!! I'm really sorry for the lack of updates. Have been rather tied up with work and all. Anyway, I better start talking about the REAL STUFF before I fall asleep on my desk.. ITS 11pm ALREADY!!

So what's with the photo above? Last few weeks, I was out with Lala (My bestie) on a camera hunt. She have not decide what model she actually wants.. but she WANTs a camera badly. I told her about that camera shop at AMK hub that sells cheap and good quality cameras. That camera shop is located at the second level just beside TOP 100 (the shop that resembles This fashion store). I was late for our appointment due to work commitments but lala was happily testing out all the cameras. We tested every single camera and finally decided on that Samsung dual screen camera! WHY?

Firstly it is a dual screen. EVERYTHING was made so easy peasy with that function. I told lala to set up a blog so that she can Vlog while she's in Canada for 6 mths. YES.. you can take photos/video with that front screen.

Next, the camera has this function call 'BEAUTY MODE'!! Yes yes... just like what this other blogger is using but.. upon many tries, we realised that we still can't achieve the same Fairness as those photo she took. Heh heh! But one thing for sure is that it really did make our faces looks cleaner and pimple-free which I personally think it is the COOLEST thing Samsung had invented for ladies who knows nothing much about Photoshop.

Lastly which is the BEST reason was because we manage to bargain using our business tactics (Lala's expertise) and my marketing tactics (Fifi's expertise) to get a good price for it. The price was too good to reject and the uncle actually gave us a $5 discount on top of the final price because lala had to make a trip down to the atm machine to withdraw money. So sweet right? Hehe!!

The camera is all good but just a little laggy! Still, I love that camera lots - even though it doesn't belongs to me. :) I really love that photo that we took even though I look rather MEATY in it. We just look picture perfect despite it being the FIRST TRY! See that Omega watch on my wrist? It is finally working after I've it repaired which reminds me about the price I had to pay (A big hole burnt in my pocket). Alright people.. I gtg now as it is gonna be a long long day tomorrow for me!! :)

Sony contest

I've chose this photo to participate in the sony contest! The reason behind it was because I am really a big fan of SEX AND THE CITY and hope that one day.. I can be like them wearing branded stuff walking down the streets of Manhattan street. I BELIEVE I CAN DO IT! The other reason of why I chose this photo was also because this banner was done by yours truely with her photoshop skills. I'm really new to Adobe and I'm proud of this end product.

I really do hope to win the Video camera cause I really think it would be the best thing to have if I'm doing a makeup tutorial(*prays*) or showing off my shopping loot. Please do let me win one!! Hehe!

Here's my review of a new product.

I don't know how many of the ladies would help to dig their bf's ear.. but I'm proud to say I'm one of them. It is not that he is lazy to dig his own ear but I personally feel that it is my duty as a girlfriend to keep my bf as cleaned as possible. I know that I am not alone! I have a few friends who does that as well and we will even discuss how tedious it gets when it is so dark inside. HAHAHA!

I was g marketing one day while my bf was sleeping. I was shopping for their cosmetics when something caught my attention.

Any idea what this was for? YES!! A flashlight ear-picker. I bought it without any hesitation at a price of $2.90 with delivery. The item came in within days and I was amazed how this thing actually works.
I've tested it and it was one incredible thing! The light was so bright that I can almost see every single thing in the ear. They have 3 different tools to use but I'm not so experimental to use the other equipments yet. One thing that I have to comment is that the plastic portion of the scoop is a little too hard for my bf's ear. BUT but but... it is so useful that I kept checking his ear every now and then.

It was so troublesome in the past when I had to hold a torch on one hand and a ear picker on another. He will then have to hold his ear of course!! HAHA!

Good news ladies!! I have found a cheaper seller for you! It cost only $2 + 50 cent(50 cent for delivery) for this amazing ear picker. It is actually invented for children but well... I guess it works well for adults too!! Guys are just like a baby when it comes to EAR DIGGING time.

A Happy mummy with her lovely princess. She was crying harshly cause her tiny mitten slipped off from her teeny weeny hands. *cute* 3 of us(daddy Goh, mummy Goh and Me) was puzzled thinking what had made her so pissed. Haha!

A very happy family. This buddy of mine had promoted himself so quickly that I have to change my salutation from a Jie jie to an AUNTIE at the age of 24! But well, since he's sucha good buddy of mine.. I shall allow that salutation to begin with.

It was hilarious that I actually complained to Esther(bud's wife) that every time she's not online at 11am, I'll take it that she had gone into labour. YES.. she had became my makeup guru, good friend and probably a listening ear! Probably it is because she had turned into a mummy that I felt that her words are soothing and helpful. It's however a pity that I had knew her only after she's pregnant, else we can head out together in town to shop and chit chat.

Anyway, the birth of Nerissa was really hilarious. Her contraction started at 4am but due to the false alarm on the day before, Kervin told her to endure a little while till 7am. At 7am, Esther couldnt wait any longer as the contraction was way too painful(cramps X 10). Kervin drove her down to Thomson Medical right away and finally at 11am, she was ready to give birth to baby Nerissa. The doctor who was suppose to deliver the child was caught in a bad jam.. and GUESS WHAT... Daddy Kervin personally delivered his baby all by himself along with the help of the midwives. I rushed down to the hospital right after work. It took me only 3 mins to run from Lido to DFS bus stop. Yea.. I couldn't believe my running speed sometimes too! It took me just 20 mins to reach and I was so happy to see that smile on Esther face! I bought them New Zealand Beauty Apples after hearing from my colleagues that APPLES are the best fruits to have for pregnant ladies/or anyone la. You can't believe how my colleagues would reprimand me if I ate the wrong fruits. -Sigh-

ESTHER: Congratulation on giving birth to such an adorable kid. She's definitely a princess in everybody's eyes. Do take good care of urself during this 1 month!

I was so happy for them that I showed their family portrait to my bf's mum who happened to know them as well. She was so happy for them too! Hehe!!

Now that Kervin and Esther had given birth to their first princess.

Who will be next? I wonder!!

Hi everyone! I'm here once again to BLOG! Today, I'm gonna share with you guys on this wonderful purchased of mine.

I have always been a fan of Blings Blings. I don't care if its swarovski crystals, real diamonds or even sequins.. as long as it BLINGS.. I will love it!! Back in my degree days, I have got this quite well-to-do friend who will always discuss about her blings with me. She have a Hello kitty mouse that blings, a pair of shoes that blings (the WHOLE pumps was BLING!!), Bling Agnes B keychain (she hang this keychain on a $2 Daiso bag) and her ipod was bling. We will discuss how bling our blings were and we can chat from the start of the lesson till the end!

So one day, my lovely boyfriend decided to cheer me up with a good earpiece because he wanted to get one too. Being the lovely technology boy, he only wants to purchase the best. He was choosing his earpiecewhen I came across this very cute blings earpiece you see. It looks so pretty that I just had to get my hands on it. The price tag for that lovely earpiece was $59.90 (estimated price-it was 2 yrs ago). My bf was skeptical about getting it at first cause he feels that the quality would be lousy and all but I felt that it was SO worth it for the bling-ness. We had a mini discussion with the quality stated and finally, he gave it and gotten that pair of earpiece for me.

This was the earpiece that dearest bought. It looks quite common now I feel! But it was a BIG HOO HA 2 years back. My bling friend was jealous of me then even though she had a $100+ swarowski diamond earpiece! I must admit that I was super proud of this earpiece especially when I flaunt it while playing with my lavender psp!

2 yrs later! This pretty little thing decided to DIE on me. The right side of the earpiece became softer and softer till it decided that it should just keep silence. I tried to endure with it and live with only the left side and within a months time, it decided to totally die on me. *heart pain*

I am totally *pissed* with no music during the 45 mins bus ride to work and decided that I should just get a cheap earpiece so that my heart doesn't feel so pain if it happens to die on me just like how the exp. one did. I went to my favourite site, GMARKET.COM.SG to check on the earpiece.. and THANK GOD!! They were having a major sale on earpiece during the season! Without any hesitation, I placed my orders viola... I've got a new earpiece!!

The delivery takes more than 20 days to arrive cause it was MADE IN CHINA! They had to ship over the products and everything. I was living like a zombie for 20 days in the bus. No music totally makes my day goes BlUE!

Then on one fine day, it finally arrive in my letterbox!!

TADAH!!! Chio right? They even gave me a fish bone for FREE!! The packaging was exactly the same as the expensive earpiece I had gotten at the Apple store. The sound quality( though can't really fight with the exp. ones) is good enough to please my ears and the material used was solid! Though it isn't as bling as the exp. one.. but hello... do you know how much this piece of earphone cost? It cost only...... *drum roll*

$4.60 WITH DELIVERY + GOOD PACKAGING (like in DHL package).

YES! I'm not lying! I feel that $4.60 is so worth it for that 20 days! I'm super happy that I made such a good purchased cause at least.. I don't feel sad if it happens to die on me one day! But well.. I might feel sad if the buyer decided to increase prices or halt his production! Hahaha!
