My Sister is finally MARRIED

Congratulation Jie Jie! I am really so glad that you have finally found the right man to spend your life with.
Having to share the same bed with her for 10 over years, I have seen/heard about all the guy friends she knew. Not many guys could suit her kind of taste till she met this particular guy who could make her CHANGE 360 degree.

She wasn't those sort who would do much cooking.. but guess what.. She's a total convert now. I don't know what and how my bro in law have done it, but I'm glad she have changed for the better.

In this wedding of hers, she have planned it very very well. Simple and grand are words which could easily describe her wedding. I shall not talk much about it but just let the pictures explains everything..

We woke up at 4.30am to have our last meal with my sister before she gets marry off. It's a chinese custom.

The day started with some gate crashing and tata.. KOR KOR AND JIE JIE with 2 cousins.

We left the bride's place and head over to the groom's place. We went for some photo taking before heading over...

Baby Kate snaping photo at the married couple. She's really cute and smart.

After the tea ceremony, we head back to our place for tea ceremony. Do we look alike?

The 3 noisy lady in the house.. Do we look alike?

Getting ourselves prepared..

Feeling nervous about the outcome..

This is going to be one of our wedding montage in the future.

Sorry for not taking any photos of the actual wedding celebration as I was toooo busy running around and making my speech.

Here's something to end the post..

CONGRATULATION JIE JIE... and I WILL STILL LOVE YOU!!!

HK Trip Day 4,5 and 6 - Nong Ping, Tim Ho Wan, Mak's Noodle and Home Sweet Home

I guess I will sum the remaining 3 days in one post before I forgot about it again.

Day 4:
Tim Ho Wan
Shop 8, Taui Yuen Mansion Phase 2, 2-20 Kwong Wa Street, Mong Kok
旺角廣華街2-20號翠園大樓2期地下8號舖

If this is your first time to HK, you definitely have to try this. However, please take note that you will have to queue for ~1 hr just to have a few bites of DIM SUM! Yes! It's simply a norm to just queue for this restaurant. If there is ever once that there is NO queue, I will say that you will be striking 4D very soon. I shall talk less now and let the photos speaks for itself..

Bread and Chao Tan. It's a full set with the Macaroni
My must have in HK. Why can't Singapore sell such standards?
Love the ice milk tea too.. I am missing HK now!

We walk around the whole afternoon and got hungry again. That's when we decided to give YOSHINOYA in HK a try...
It did NOT disappoint us at all. It's 10 times much better than Singapore. It's definitely a must try fast food.
This is one stall which we randomly found that sell very nice egg balls.
I guess we had too much food and walking that day that I felt sick. :( Darling made his way down to get macdonalds while I stayed on the bed, nursing myself with panadols and water.

Day 6 was a shopping day for me at Harbourcity, Langham and mongkok. Shopping at Hong kong is really fun but there are some clothes that cost really expensive. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely head back again.

We had a great lunch at

HK Trip Day 3: Hong Kong Disneyland

I'm really sorry about the 2 mths delay updates. I really swear to you that blogging efficiently now is one of the hardest thing to do. I really hope that with my recent big purchase of the Asus K55, I will be blogging more often.

So ok... 2 mths ago, we were at Hong Kong! I have blogged on our first 2 days (please view Day 1Day 2 if you have not) last 2 mths ago and so here comes.. DAY 3!

As both of us have not went to Disneyland before, yes.. we have not even set foot into USS Singapore, we were pretty excited about meeting Mickey, Minnie and goofy in HK. We heard alot of reviews from our friends and there were some that said it was really fun and 1 day is not enough and then there were some who told us not to waste our money. We decide to go with the in between and that is.. to just go for a day of fun and THAT's it.

Total damage for HK Disneyland was S$100+ for 2 person. Come to think about it, it's really expensive. We have chose to get a 3 day travel pass when we first reached HK so that we can enjoy some discounts when we get Disneyland tickets.

Before we head onto the main topic about Disneyland, I want to share a place to eat for breakfast. We wanted to head to Olympian City for our breakfast but to our disappointment, the restaurant which we want to go was CLOSED FOR RENOVATION. We were super pissed and was thinking of where is the next nearest place we could go for their fantastic breakfast. Well, it is always the case that the restaurant will just pop up anywhere when you do not want to eat them but when you do, you will have to travel just to have them. Hence... we took a train to EAST TSIM SHA TSUI to search for our

大家樂 (DAI KAH LOK)

We walked a distance to Olympian City with a great disappointment.. :(

Took a train from Olympic to East Tsim Sha Tsui
To have our favourite scramble egg and chicken
Yumz!! $4+ for a set

After a hearty meal, we are all ready to take the train to DISNEYLAND. The train journey was rather long but at least there were seats to sit. Hong Kong train are really fast and I simply love their air con. SO COOLING even though there were tons of people in the train.
The train to Disneyland

Tinkerbelle...
HERE WE ARE AT DISNEYLAND!!
An epic shot when he pressed the horn of the car!
Took a shot before enjoying the rides
SAVE ME FROM TMR LAND!
Waiting for our turn to take our first ride. Took us 30 mins just to take that. :(
Glad that he found his childhood once again. *Kids ride
One of the best ride I took in Disneyland. Really exciting! *Adult ride
The CARS. Yes, I drove it! *Kids ride
Toy story ride *Kids ride
Toy story
Long queue again for the boat ride *Kids
Realistic right?
Tarzan Treehouse next *kids ride
The scariest ride which both did not dare to take. *Adult ride
We played games with them. HEhe!
It's finally the PARADE time! Stood there under the armpits of China peeps for 30 mins just to see Dumbo, Tinkerbelle, Lilo and stich, Winnie the pooh and Mickey and friends.
After a hot sticky wait for the parade, we went for the winnie the pooh ride to get some aircon. Great to meet them but if given a choice, I would rather skip the long queue. *Kids ride
Cheeky goofy
We waited for Mr donald for 15 mins for his toilet break.
Turning cups * Kids ride
Spotted a HK actor over there at Disneyland. Rare chances.
Another one..
The last ride before we head for our fireworks. IT's a small world after all! *kids ride

The fireworks started at about 8 plus in the evening. You can see tons of people sitting aimlessly around to catch the fireworks. It was really a very magnificient view but heading back to the city at ease is still the biggest priority in my mind after a whole day at the park. Hence, we chose to leave the disneyland 10 mins before the end of the firework to avoid human traffic. Thank god that we made a brilliant choice cause the crowd was really madness!

I did enjoy my day at Disneyland but honestly, I do think the rides there are rather kiddish and disappointing.  The crowd and queue was really very very disappointing. People just jump queue as if they own the theme park. We had to keep in queue and warn these people whenever they do that. Really detest the feeling of it.

After a tiring day, we had our dinner at Tsui Wah again...

We call it a day after a great dinner and shopping around harbour city..
